Dr. Jenna Hoffman, MD

I went into the ER via ambulance on January 3rd. I was in extreme lower abdominal pain and vomiting blood. I have a history of endometriosis so the abdominal pain wasn’t necessarily new but the location accompanied by the hematemesis was concerning. I was in and out of consciousness but my sister in law who is an RN was with me. When I arrived in the ER, the nurses on call did not properly assess me but Dr. Hoffman came in and was very attentive to my needs and concerns. Once my labs and CT scan came back, Dr. Hoffman immediately came in and explained her findings in a clear and concise manner. Her positive disposition and bedside manner was unmatched. She provided the utmost level of care during each encounter and explained my diagnosis in a way that was easy to understand. When we asked about the status of my endometriosis, she explained that she was not an OBGYN and that she wouldn’t want to give misinformation. I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Hoffman’s professionalism and care.

Dr. Hoffman saw my wife at emergency St Luke’s. Very thorough, articulate and kind. When she left my wife said “I really like her. We are blessed to have her looking after me “

I received a surprise medical bill from this doctor from when I was in the hospital ED over a year ago. All my hospital bills were covered a year ago, but this doctor failed to properly record & bill my insurance with the necessary info. Can't believe it has been over a year and now her team is back asking for money. Not sure why the hospital easily figured it out??? What kind of business practice are you running?

Misdiagnosed in ER - was NOT pancreatic cancer.
