Dr. Jennifer Griffin Miller, MD

I’ve been trying to find a place to write a review so this will have to do. I went to Dr. Griffin recently and I was extremely disappointed in her bedside manner. She was rude, barely spoke to me about my issue, and at the end she said I’ll put testing in and walked out. I was sitting there thinking is she coming back? Do I need to schedule the testing? Do they call me? I couldn’t believe she didn’t even say goodbye or nice meeting you or we’ll be in touch. Very disappointed especially when I was going in for a stressful situation already. I would not recommend.

At no point during my appointment did I feel she was taking me or my symptoms seriously. After a blood test proved that my symptoms were real, she messaged me asking if I wanted to go back on a medication I had just been that I had explained to her had done nothing for me. She offered no real alternatives and took so long getting back to me that I switched providers.

I have been seeing Dr. Griffin Miller for several years now. I am at a high risk for breast and ovarian cancer, so she oversees all my screenings related to that. I have been very pleased with the care I have received through her. She is knowledgeable about my condition as well as current screening recommendations. She takes my concerns seriously and makes sure I am aware of all options. I highly recommend her!

The actual consult with Dr. Griffin was fine. The administrative tasks are very non-coordinated. I talked to no less than five people about my appointments and scheduling a minor outpatient procedure. The whole Medcenter concept is so large that the staff does not know each other or how to get directly in touch with people.

Dr Miller did not enter the exam room and ask open-endedly about my concerns. She made recommendations without explaining how they related to my chief health concerns. The entire visit felt superficial, despite taking over 2-hours from my work day to complete.
