We came down to Siskiyou County to spend Thanksgiving with family and friends. Last year my immunity went bad after becoming septic due to an abscessed tooth and dying April 2024. Was in the ICU for 4 days after emergency surgery. Had gone through numerous antibiotics and my system shut down. I got a cortisone shot in both knees in July 2024. It caused me to have irritation from too much Cortisone and antibiotics in my body. I thought it had cleared up when we had come for Thanksgiving with family and friends. It did not. I ended up going to the emergency room and saw Dr Hall. She did an exam and immediately declared I had a STD and proceeded to give me medication without the results. Both my partner and I disagreed with her and told her there is no way that that has happened. She was emphatically persistent that that is what it was. Gave me one dose of medication in the emergency room. Even after I asked her will this affect my Steven Johnson syndrome. She did not care. I reluctantly took the medication to try to get some relief. Had an sjs breakout within 24 hours. She gave no creams no other forms of medication for relief for the extreme pain and discomfort. She sent the prescription to a pharmacy that was closed until Monday even though it was Wednesday. Did not get the results until Monday, 5 days later. The results were negative on everything no STD just like we said. The psychological damage that she caused to this family unit. She should lose her license and stop being a doctor because she does not know what she is doing. She has no compassion at all and is very unprofessional. I will be following through with filing complaints with the appropriate agencies including Medicare.

My husband presented with severe stomach issues and jaundice two days after an endoscopy. Dr. Hall quickly ordered a CT scan, and the results were terrible—esophageal cancer with Mets to the liver. She was honest, sympathetic and gentle. We so appreciated her manner and options for us. I will never forget her.
