Confused
I attended an appointment with my close friend, to be her strength as there was potential for bad news. The appointment work up was great and Dr. John was kind and gave a lot of information and comfort. We were told that she would have some bloodwork results 'in a few days.' It has been almost 2 weeks and NOTHING! My poor friend has called the office several times and was told that someone would get back to her, each time she called. Today, my friend was told that Dr. John was out of the office until Thursday and they would let her know that she called. Why wasn't she told this several days prior? When you think that you may be suffering from a fatal issue, every day counts and the stress on a person could be prevented with better communication. I am confused because the office visit went so well and we felt reassurance when we left the office.
