I was very disappointed with my experience at HCA in Maitland on December 18th, particularly with 'Doctor' Jennifer Kolodchak. From the start, she was confrontational and dismissive. She refused to listen to my concerns and made me feel as though I was exaggerating my symptoms. I arrived with a rapid heart rate, excessive sweating, shaky hands, persistent nausea, body aches, and had lost 18 pounds in two months. Instead of addressing my health issues, she focused on questioning why I sought emergency care at 2 AM, implying that my visit was unwarranted. and based on other reviews, it seems I'm not alone in this sentiment. I hope my feedback discourages others from seeking her care. Doctor Kolodchak, when patients express their concerns, it’s crucial to listen rather than react with skepticism. The following day, I was admitted to the hospital for hyperthyroidism, and my symptoms matched the diagnosis perfectly. If you had taken the time to listen, you might have recognized that.

New doctor at practice. Insists on treating bacterial upper respiratory infection with huge doses of steroids. Will not prescribe antibiotics in conjunction with them which is normal protocol. Being diabetic steroids have a severe adverse effect. Would not listen to my history as I am prone to infections. Ignored my concerns. In fact she got angry I questioned her.

Her diagnoses are educated guesses, at best. And be careful...she loves to use depression/anxiety as a default when she can't figure you out.... I've worked with her and I wouldn't let her lay a hand on me or anyone I love. I'd be more comfortable with a nurse.
