Very Disappointed
Very Disappointed. I have limited PTO and I was really looking forward to speaking with the doctor. After a long time in the waiting room I finally saw Dr. Laing. During the visit I mentioned three health issues that I'm struggling with 2 of which need prescriptions. She didn't ask questions or address two of them! After the brief visit she disappeared to write notes and I had to wait again for a long time until she came back. At the last minute of the appt., while walking away from me, she remembered that I needed one of the prescriptions and then disappeared. What? How is this a quality visit? I wasn't listened to or respected. I could have stayed home with my PTO. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. Writing this review so others won't waste their time.

Finally!!
I have struggled for decades with illness and multiple diagnosis, never fully ever getting a substantial diagnosis nor treatment from a plethora of specialists and physicians. After moving back to the Sherman Tx area from Plano, to retire on our home place, my husband and I found a new physician in Dr. Jennifer Laing at Sherman Wellness Center. We have now been with her for several years and have found the missing piece fo our puzzles. Not long ago she sent me to my optometrist for an exam and for the life of me I couldnt see the relation to my ailments and my eyes. First thing out of the Dr. of Optometry's mouth??? Looks like Lupus to me. After thirty five years I had a diagnosis instead of a symptom. It's not easy...however it is easier to KNOW and to be given actual treatment for my auto immune disease than treatment for the symptoms My husband has found the same exact fullfillment in his treatment from Dr. Laing. We are so very blessed that God sent us to the best last. I

Dr. Laing is a great doctor who is knowledgeable and listens intently. Dr. Laing addresses all of my concerns and is quick to take care of my medical needs. I’ve been a patient of hers for around 18 years and all have been positive.

Good Doctor. Poor phone system.
Dr. Laing is a caring and experienced doctor, and I liked her a lot. Staff is friendly. Only problem I ever had was in calling the office and having problems with the answering system. Very hard to get calls through to a real person.

Excellent doctor who takes the time to listen to you and explains fully her diagnosis and plan of action. Trust her explicitly and would recommend to everyone. I am a nurse and I can say there are plenty of doctors I would never go to. She is not one of them. Appointments are easy to schedule, timely, never a long wait, waiting room clean and not packed with patients.

I am 66 yrs.of age. I haven't ever touched drugs in my life. Dr. Laing drug tested me on 2nd visit, charges into the patient room stating " We have a problem, your test results came back positive for methamphetamines" Proceeded to say she would"fire me" for doing drugs. Also was required to send to San Diego for a test "that would hold up as" court record" After this she finally said it could be a "false positive " had I taken otc meds such as cold, sinus meds. I supplied a list of these to go with the lab specimen . Her manner was so unprofessional & accusing even after I told her of being 66 yrs & innocent. Her response was " Dont matter, I've busted a 70 yr.old for cocaine ". I truly was victimized by her, suffering mental anxieties. Well no shocker that the results were in fact a false positive, Also was told that to get all results from lab report that I have to make office visit. I wont give this dr. Another dime.I do not recommend this woman to anyone. Horrible person.

My mother is 65, she has never touched drugs in her life. Dr. Laing drug tested her on 2nd visit then charges in the patient room stating she came back positive for meth. Not taking into account for false positives from sinus headache medication. Then told my mother she would "fire her" if she is doing meth and sent lab off to San Diego for a test "that would hold up in a court of law". Well no shocker here that the results were in fact a false positive. Then to go over the result of false positive she would have to pay for another office visit. I do not recommend this woman to anyone. Horrible person.

Dr. Laing is a very thorough, caring, and amazing doctor. You could not be blessed with a better doctor! You are in great hands with Dr. Laing! (And for those that may complain about the wait time, she is well worth the wait, and I will gladly wait for the way she treats each one of her patients vs. being rushed in and out and be considered nothing more than a no one!)
