Dr. Jennifer Mercado, MD

The worst experience I’ve had with a doctor to date. She listened to none of my concerns for certain medications that haven’t worked for me in the past and was very dismissive. I had to ask her multiple times to be a bit gentler because she’s has a very aggressive attitude and doesn’t like people asking questions. I expect doctors to be the liaison between medicine and the patient, she does a terrible job explaining and makes you feel uncomfortable. She isn’t equipped to deal with the public directly. Safe yourself the trouble and go with a different doctor that will actually help.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mercado for seven years. I have always found her very attentive and prepared for my visit. She has helped me through prostate cancer, surgery, and hemochromatosis maintenance. When I have an urgent need she always finds a way to fit me into her schedule. She also diagnosed an allergic reation to blood pressure medication.

She was very innattentive. The opposite of proactive. Didn't even test for a serious, out-of-control condition that had been bad for the last year. Nor did she do what should have been a standard set of routone tests. She also denied there was a test for a serious drug reaction I had, even though I asked her for a test that was actually specific for that reaction.
