Highly Recommend
Dr. Ogilvie is a true professional, she loves what she does and cares very much for her patients. She has operated on me 3 times, each was very successful, recovery was quick and the incision(s) healed exactly like she said, you can hardly tell where they are on my neck. She has a very calming effect and is able to put her patients at ease while explaining the situation at hand. This effect trickles down to her entire team because she leads by example.

My mother had what was billed as a simple thyroid surgery with Dr. Ogilvie about a year ago and her voice never became normal. She had to see other doctors for vocal cord treatments. I wish I had taken her to see someone else.

Superior Talent
There have been two amazing surgeons in my lifetime of more than 10 surgeries. Dr. Jennifer Ogilvie is one of them. She is not the cold, distant surgeon who's just focusing on using her skill and lives to operate before making a referral and moving on to the next surgery. She is a warm, patient, compassionate, empathetic human-being combined with exceptional surgical skill. From the first appointment with her RN/Scheduling Coordinator you enter into an environment that is extremely supportive. Dr. Ogilvie creates a safety net that surrounds you, along with checks and balances. You are literally encased in an extremely supportive environment with no gatekeepers. Dr. Ogilvie and her team are available beyond 9 AM - 5 PM prior to and after. While this might be too much information, it might assist you, the reviewer, in understanding my condition: A significant mass growing downward from my thyroid, which was dangerously close to my vocal cord and aorta and carotid arteries, my esophagus a

Dr. Jennifer Ogilvie, she has the loveliest personality possible and you can immediately feel that she truly cares. I was so worried when diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer, but after speaking with her she calmed me down and said" don't worry we got this". She performed my surgery 10/13/21, and did a fabulous job I would recommend her in a heartbeat. She is my angel !!!

Very professional and has wonderful communication skills. She is a terrific listener, and when you speak with her she gives you her full attention. She doesn't rush you, and was great at providing as much information as possible about what's going on with you, and what to expect with surgery.

Three years ago today, Dr. Ogilvie performed my parathyroid surgery, which, she promised she was well versed in. A surgery that is generally quite quick took her four hours as she rooted around looking for a gland she never found and removed one, we now suspect was healthy. The recovery was long and painful (as opposed to the "week or so" prognosis) and when I left the hospital, my calcium numbers were worse! I could not swallow comfortably for three months and when I was speaking to her office

Dr. Ogilvie treated me when I had thyroid cancer and again when it came back. She has a very calming effect on her patients and she is extremely caring. I've always said she should teach classes in bedside manner.
