Dr. Jennifer Powell, DO

I booked with her almost a year in advance due to a shortage in PCPs. The office is completely disorganized with the people who don't want to be there or help you. Dr. Powell herself rushed me and my appointment. Prior to the appointment and during booking I requested additional services that I wanted addressed during my appointment. She did not address those needs and cut the appointment short, actually just walked out as we were talking. Very rude. I would not recommend wasting your time with her or her office.

I went to Dr. Powell twice when I was new to the area last year. Very unimpressed with her and her office. She was very rushed in seeing me, unconcerned at speaking to me about my options, and brushed off my sincere questions. She was unwilling to have a conversation and just told me what I "needed" and moved on. I have trust issues with doctors anyway, and my whole experience here only enforced my trust "stumbling block" with medical professionals. Office is also unimpressive - always was put on hold when I called and the receptionists are constantly distracted by other phone calls when I was standing in front of them at the receptionist desk. I switched to a different primary care doctor ASAP. Would not recommend Powell or this office. I am now writing this review as I found an amazing primary care doc who is willing to go out of her way to work with me, answer questions, and make sure I am comfortable - such a night and day difference made me realize how terrible Powell was.

Great doctor, helped me a lot with my chronic pain!!!!

Surprisingly Dr. Powell was a referral but I have been disappointed by the level of service in her office. When you call the make an appt (or for any issue) they immediately put you on hold. The nurses are extremely rude, and “mei” has called back for doctor Powell twice and hung up on me. Sorry but if you are in a patient driven environment you should have better customer service skills. Additionally it took me several calls to finally get a referral to another doctor.

She is so nice. She takes her time asking you questions and letting you ask your questions. She makes sure you know what options are available, but does not push you to do anything you are uncomfortable with. She does not rush you in and out of the office, but spends time assisting and listening to you.
