Dr. Jennifer Schroeder, MD

Context: I'm VERY selective about my healthcare providers. I was a professor of public health and of medicine at a major research university for 16 years and trained countless healthcare professionals. If all clinicians practice as thoroughly and compassionately as Dr. Schroeder, we would all be better off. Dr. S. is very patient-centered. She listens carefully to patients' concerns, and does not make one feel rushed. Her genuine care in your well-being is obvious. We have NEVER felt dismissed nor our problems trivialized. I greatly appreciate how Dr. S. considers her patients key members of our own healthcare team, instead of using a patronizing approach with herself as the sole expert. Indeed, Dr. S. works to find solutions that are practical given the contexts in which each of us live, work, play, etc. She works WITH us to keep us healthy and/or heal. I wish she trained family medicine residents!!!!

I switched to Dr Schroeder several years ago after trying a few other doctors in the area and being dissatisfied with their impersonal interactions and treatment. A friend of mine recommended Dr Schroeder. I can honestly say that Dr Schroeder is by far the best Dr that I've ever been to. What stands out the most to me is how Dr Schroeder and April both take the time to sit with you and have a conversation.

Very laid back, makes an uncomfortable visit very comfortable. Goes over history very thoroughly and doesn't force opinions on you. Great nurse, too.
