Dr. Jennifer Serrentino, MD

I have seen Dr. Serrentino for issues in the past and have found her to be a great listener and an inspiring clinician. She is tuned in and I am amazed at the personal details she remembers about our sessions. She is a fantastic psychiatrist.

I worked with Dr. Serrentino for over 16 years. She is compassionate, understanding, personable, and had my heartfelt best interest in mind every time we met. I recently moved out of state, and it is very difficult to find an amazing provider like Dr. Serrentino elsewhere. I can truly say I trusted her with my life.

Dr Serrentino is a compassionate physician. She is understanding , kind and gives wonderful thoughtful opinions.She is easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend her. She is the BEST!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Serrentino for over 13 years. Recently had some issues that I attributed to anxiety however she was insistent that I see my primary care doctor. Thank goodness she was as Dr Serrentino was instrumental in me getting an early diagnosis and being proactive with a potentially debilitating medical condition. Her medical expertise and knowing what was psych sx vs medical symptoms has saved my life. I will truly be forever grateful. Can’t sing her praises enough !

You will not find a better doctor. She is empathetic compassionate and truly wants to help. She has helped us thru a few hurdles. I trust her fully. And would recommend her 100%

My husband and I have been seeing Dr Serrentino for many years. She has been so helpful to both of us She has always been empathetic and genuinely concerned about our well being. I would recommend her services to anyone who needs an understanding compassionate doctor we have seen her in her office and have done Telehealth during Covid

Avoid at all costs. She systemically abandoned me with no explanation. In my 15 years of seeing psychs on and off, I’ve never experienced such a disgraceful psychiatrist. I have Long Covid and made them aware of how it impacted my functionality, I even acted apologetic because they made it seem like they (her and her secretary) were doing me a favor the entire time meanwhile, they were giggling and scheming together over how to deter me. As a medical provider, you should prioritize rather than persona non grata patients with debilitating disabling medical issues. It all ended when they cancelled my appointment and I had to call them several times just to have them indirectly tell me that they refuse to see me due to being 7 minutes late… lateness directly caused by my autonomic dysfunction from Covid.After I got off the phone, I felt tremendously suicidal and was given NO REFERRALS.Can’t imagine how she’d treat someone in an actual mental health crisis. VERY concerning.

I have seen a few different psychiatrists over the years and I find Dr. Serrentino to be very thorough and also very understanding. Her fees are right in line with the industry and she is also very professional which I like. I also like the fact that she digs and tries to find out what is really going on....no 15 minutes and out with her.

I am not sure why other people have made the comments they have. I found her to be very compassionate and thorough. She made me feel very comfortable and spent more time with me than other psychiatrists I have seen.

Condescending. Looks at you like you're trash. Doesn't even pretend that she cares. I was more suicidal after seeing her.

Completely did NOT resolve a single thing! As a new patient I would expect to make a referral as comfortable as possible especially considering her "credentials" absolutely did not get that vibe . I basically told her my life story from A-Z, she told me basically what I had already self diagnosed which was depression and anxiety. $400 (because I don't have insurance) she sent me on my merry way with the meds my PCP provided. I could tell from expressions she was very judgey wasn't helpful at all
