I was very concerned about some pain I was having and at age 87 a lot of doctors would not waste their time. Dr Thompson was so kind and thorough and too her time to assure me there was nothing to be concerned about. This office has always been very responsive when I needed them. I have recommended her to my daughter but she is not taking new patients right now. I hope at some point she can get an appointment with Dr. Thompson. .

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Thompson for 18 years. She’s a great Dr. who takes the time to answer all my questions and makes me feel at ease. She delivered my baby many years ago and I always felt we were both in great hands.

I was very sad after seeing these bad reviews. I have been seeing Dr. Thompson for past 8yrs. She is a very good doctor and very professional. She will listen to your porblems and has lot of patience. I got hysterectomy last year and every thing went well. I am happy I have this doctor as my OB-GYN.

She is an awful gynecologist. I had annual check up with her and i dont feel like i was seeing a doctor. She had hard time explaining things. She just wanted to finish up quickly and leave. I had to find another doctor. Just cannot trust her.

I was a patient for several years. I complained of pains and she misdiagnosed. I too experienced the condescension as well as inappropriate comments. I finally went to another doctor who immediately solved my problem and I got an accurate diagnosis. She claimed I had a low pain threshold. Based on other health difficulties, and the comments of various doctors, I have a very high pain threshold. She failed me. After my hysterectomy the lab confirmed the pervasiveness of my illness.

So sad to see this bad review, it compelled me to write an accurate one. I have been going to Dr. Thompson for quite a few years ( at least 12). I have always found her to be very professional, upbeat, and supportive. I have never for one minute seen her as anything less than totally professional. I belong to a women's group on Facebook with over 25K members, and she is often listed as one of the best obgyns in the Loudoun area when people ask for recommendations! Highly Recommended!

Horrible. This doctor knows all and treats you in a condescending manner. I am in the medical field and have never experienced anything quite like she treated me. She also insisted on doing an unnecessary annual exam just for me to get birth control. Then she argued with me about what birth control to be on! She also ran numerous labs I see by my insurance bill and I do not even know what they are. Unreal. I have since seen another ob/gyn since and it was a totally different experience.
