After seeing 3 other OBGYN’s over the course of the last 5 years, Dr. Thanos was the first one to listen. After my first appointment, hearing my concerns, and seeing my ultrasounds, he immediately scheduled surgery. I’ve been trying to get a Dr to tell me something other than “take birth control” or “just get pregnant again HAHA” and he did!! After surgery he confirmed my Endometriosis and multiple cysts on my ovaries. I also have an abnormally large uterine fibroid and he was the first Dr to tell me it won’t go away, it will get bigger, it might cause continued pain. Just so nice to find a Dr that didn’t disregard my pain and wanted to do something about it. Bedside manner might be off, but sometimes bluntness from a Dr is very refreshing. Don’t sugarcoat it, just tell me the facts. His staff is amazing. He’s well educated in endometriosis along with its evil twin, Interticial cystitis. Highly recommend him if you have endo pain, cysts, and/or fibroids.

Dr Thanos has delivered 4 of my 5 children. He may not have the greatest personality and it might come off as being rude but i do trust him when it comes to my medical care. i have had very good deliveries three natural (2 with him) and two c sections. my last c section he did tell me i shouldn't have anymore because it took him 10 minutes to controlling my bleeding and i could see in his eyes he was truly concerned and a few years ago when i had a miscarriage he stepped out of his comfort zone and really tried to comfort me in that very depressing moment .

I told him that I believed I needed to see a breat specialist. He responded by saying I didn't need one. He sent me to get a mammogram and ultrasound. He wouldn't approve anything more. The following year, I was diagnosed with stage 3C metastatic breast cancer. He wouldn't listen.

Very knowledgeable and concerned about your health. I’ve been going to him for close to 30 years and would never consider going anywhere. He’s removed my ovarian cysts, diagnosed my PCOS and preformed my hysterectomy when it was time for that. He continues to treat me for hormonal issues and my yearly exams.

Absolutely no bedside manner. Extremely rude and makes you feel absolutely incompetent for asking relevant questions about YOUR HEALTH AND RESULTS FROM THE LAB. Not to mention, he read my charts wrong and gave me false information. I had to get it cleared from the NURSE only for her to apologize for HIS mistake (nurse Jill is so sweet). Dr. Thanos is a waste of time and has no consideration for his patients. Never came back and switched providers as soon as I could.

Dr Thanos was the first doctor to finally listen to me. He acted quickly and found a solution to a problem I’ve had for years. He’s kind and engaged with me intently from day one. I can’t thank him and his staff enough.

I would not recommend Dr. Thanos to anyone. He constantly disregarded my concerns and never took anything I said seriously. I left every time feeling confused and treated less than. I will never be seeing him again.

Very bad experience.

Dr. Thanos is incompetent and a un compassionate Dr with terrible bed side manner. Every time I have seen him he makes extremely disrespectful comments. Will no longer be going back to him ever, left his office and got in my car crying. He try's to bully you into making a decision your uncomfortable with.

Dr. Thanos was the first gynocologist to listen to me and show compassionate care. He understood that my 21 years of heavy bleeding and suffering was not acceptable, that watchful waiting should not encompass decades and granted me a LAVH hysterectomy at my young age. This has changed my life and my outlook! I will be grateful to his bedside manner and his skills that have lifted me into a pain-free future!

He is the greatest Gynecologist i have ever had he helped me with my chronic anus Bleeding.

Dr. Thanos is honestly the worst doctor I have ever encountered. Please do yourself a favor and look into getting a caring doctor... your health is important and you are not in good hands with this man.

Dr. Thanos solved a chronic problem ongoing for years. For a time it seemed there was no relief, kindness and a desert-like malignant existence took hold of me, my family our pets and subsequently and our lives. Dr. Jerald J. Thanos comes from a family of physicians. He looked striking and definitely 10-20 years younger than his chronological age. His nurses were kind and the world became brighter that day, I left with hope and a smile that shined on me and many for days after.

Dr. Jerry is fabulous! I have been to many specialists and he is one of the best. He is patient, listens carefully and answers all questions thoroughly and in terms I understand. (never arrogant or condescending) Unlike most specialists, Dr. Jerry has a wonderful bedside manner and personality. He is very caring and compassionate, understands my needs and takes his time explaining diagnosis/treatment. Amazed at how he can be around hormonal women all day, everyday, and still be so nice?!
