UTMOST RESPECT FOR DR. JEREMY BARLOW & HIS STAFF!
Review LONG overdue! If you're ever in a car accident, PLEASE go & have your spine scanned immediately! Secondary conditions, as we age, can reveal nasty injuries you never knew you had! Fast forward 32 yrs, I start having significant pain, find out that I've developed spinal stenosis. The injuries, I didn't know I had, showed themselves. I had 3 spine surgeries, 2 lumbar, 1 BIG cervical surgery and and an additional one two years ago for a failed screw in my cervical spine. I use opioids only when necessary and other OTC's. We move to Alabama, obtained a new neurosurgeon & pain management doctor, referred to me by my primary care physician. I go every 3 to 4 mos ,for the past 6 ish years. he uses a very light anesthetic, works for me, GREAT results! You must have a driver! MY QUALITY OF LIFE HAS BEEN VERY SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVED! This explains his VERY busy practice. So when you go, be patient! Sometimes he's right on schedule, and sometimes it takes longer, but he's worth the wait!

Great bedside manner and had a genuine concern
It was a quick visit, I didn't have to spend half a day there. The nurses were very friendly. Dr. Barlow took alot if time with me and my interest in mind. Probably the best epidural block I have received in the past 5 years of getting them elsewhere.

Lumbar nerve block
This was my 1st time meeting Dr. Barlow but let me tell you, he is one of the Kindest, Patience and Best doctors I have seen. I was referred by Dr. Cusmariu so I did my research first as I always do with a new doctor. The reviews were excellent and right on point So was his medical background. I would prefer him and trust him with my family members for care. He allowed me to pray with them before I went under and I really appreciated that.

He's kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and takes time to listen and explain, answer questions. He makes you feel that you are his only patient and never in a hurry. Yet, I've never had to wait. All these reasons give me confidence in his procedures and I've not been disappointed. I've been seeing Dr Barlow for over 5 years for chronic lumbar pain. I would not consider any other Dr. and highly recommend him.

Dr. Barlow understood my low blood count. He did an excellent job for my back epidural. I did not follow his warning and now need another epidural, due to lifting heavy box. (I had felt so good and forgot). I’m waiting for him to decide as SS will only pay for so many in a year. Excellent care from receptionist/nurses/doctors. Only request, need newer/more/better selection of magazines in waiting area. Been to other “pain management, doc in a box” terrible!! Barlow is at St Vincent’s Hospital! ?

Dr. Barlow seemed very concern about my injuries. Upon having my procedure done everything happened just as he said. I still have no pain at 6 weeks. Very pleased with staff. The wait time procedure and recovery was as exactly as they said it would be.

My eye price with Dr. Barlow was a very pleasant one. I had my first block on July 6th. The wait time time to be called back was less than 30 minutes after completing paper. Dr. Barlow took the time to listen to my concerns as well as offer his advise about course of care. He sat down and talked with prior to performing the procedure. He treated me like I was a person and not just another body to working. Excellent bed side manner.
