Excellent surgeon/doctor
Dr Gates is an excellent surgeon and dr. I had a complicated bowel surgery (12 hrs). He is very knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and patient. I have had many questions in my follow up care. He always takes time with me in explaining and ensures my questions have been covered. I have never felt hurried. He is an asset to our community in having a surgeon and physician of his caliber for our care. I can’t thank him enough for my care, it wasn’t an easy road but he made it better.

Great surgeon
I was referred to Dr. Gates to have a port put in for my chemo treatments. He was very informative and explained the procedure and answered any questions that I had. Dr. Gates is a wonderful, confident and caring man. The procedure went well and I needed no pain meds! His staff was also caring and comforting through this difficult time. If you are wanting an exceptional care provider I recommend Dr. Gates and staff.

I had a robotic inguinal hernia surgery with mesh placement as an outpatient. Minimal post-op pain over two days was controlled with Acetominophen. There was no groin pain. I walked easily the same day as surgery. There were no complications. Now at six weeks post-op I feel fully recovered and am vigorously active but still limit lifting and straining for a total of three months. I highly recommend Dr Gates as a very personable and skilled surgeon.

I had a hernia and was referred to Dr. Gates by my regular doctor. I hate going to the doctor for anything and hadn't seen one for 7 years. I was really nervous but Dr. Gates took the time to explain everything I had questions about. I was still nervous about the surgery, but it was way better than expected. I expected some pain in the days to follow but there really wasn't any. I took the prescribed ibuprofen a couple times but I probably didn't need to. Literally the hardest thing about the surgery is remembering to not lift anything more than 10 pounds for a month. I went fishing 3 days after surgery without any issues. All of my appointments with Dr. Gates were quick, simple and straightforward. I felt he was respectful and honest. I'm thankful to Dr. Gates and his staff for getting me back on track. If you think you have a hernia, go see Dr. Gates. You'll be glad you did.

Dr. Gates is a nice, friendly Dr. And, on top of that, in my opinion, he is an excellent Doctor, very easy to talk to and ask questions of. He answered all of my questions, even when I had to ask more than once. He explained everything in very easy to understand terms and made me feel comfortable in asking questions. This is the first time I have had surgery and he made the experience very easy to handle. He spoke with my husband after the surgery and explained to him the after care. I appreciate Dr. Gates and would highly recommend him to others.

Dr. Gates provided excellent care during a recent emergency admittance to the hospital and subsequent surgery. He personally saw me each day in the hospital and at all office visits. He provided in depth explanations of my physical condition, necessary tests and options for care. Dr. Gates kept my family appraised of my progress and alleviated their concerns. I had a very successful surgery and recovery which I attribute to Dr. Gate's expertise. I would highly recommend Dr. Gates .

My wife and I were very pleased with Dr. Gates. He completed a sigmoid colectomy on me. We were impressed with the time he took to explain surgical options with the pros and cons. He literally drew us a picture explaining what he would do surgically. He took time to build a working relationship with us and answer questions. He was compassionate, communicated very well and followed up on every commitment he made. He was supportive of me and my family. He did much more than I expected for us.

I would like to start this off by admitting I am a very hard person to satisfy. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Jeremy Gates. He was very professional and friendly Jeremy answered all my questions very thorough and explain things that I didn't think of asking. My surgery for two hernias went extremely well. I could not have asked for a better surgeon. I'm 100% satisfied. My pain level after the surgery was very tolerable and I stopped taking my pain medication after the 2nd day. THANKS

Dr. Gates was very informative about the surgery I was to have. After surgery he drew me a diagram to explain what area of the colon he had removed and how cancer progresses through the lymph nodes. He comes across as a very caring Doctor. I felt he would take as much time as was needed to answer all my questions. He wasn't in a hurry to get to the next patient.

I saw Dr. Jeremy Gates, in Wyoming, for a surgical issue that my previous surgeon said,"I can't do anything else to help you." Dr. Gates was so attentive and provided me with confidence that he would be able to help. After the usual tests, surgery was set up and I am now recovered. The problem was definitely corrected and I am feeling better than I have in six months or more. His staff are a dream to work with also. They make you feel as if you are the only patient he has to see today, how nice!
