Dr. Jeromy Hackney, MD

My dad loves Dr Hackney. He did a cystoscopy on my dad and found bladder cancer. He sent us to a great oncologist. Dr Hackney showed care and concern towards my dad. I highly recommend him!

After seeing a few different Doctors I feel like I didn't really get good answers. however, After seeing Dr Hackney he really answered all my questions took time to review some Imaging that I brought. He came up with a plan of treatment so I'm looking forward to getting a procedure done by him. I couldn't be more happy after the visit today. Thank you office staff was great and efficient. Highly recommended

I have been going to Doctor Hackney for several years now. He is a good doctor because he takes the time to listen and explain things to you in a way you can understand. That said, his back office staff is one on a scale of 1 to 10. The staff never return messages and they do not tell the doctor you have called. So you have to decide if you can get past the back office issues Dr Hackney currently has.

No problem with the doctor. The problem is getting to the doctor for information . No one answers the phone and if you leave a message they so not return your call. It has been a frustrating time for us.

From the wife of a patient: The communication after vasectomy procedure was extremely frustrating. The procedure was done on Friday and the office is closed on the weekends. Even calling the office for post op questions during the weekdays during business hours, I still can't get a person. If they had more detailed post-op instructions I wouldn't have to keep wasting my time on hold calling them just to leave a voicemail and never get an answer.

I was a patient of Dr. Hackney for several years before my wife and I recently moved to another part of Texas. Dr. Hackney is an excellent physician and surgeon. Last year, he minced no words in telling me that I would right be back in the emergency room if I didn't have the surgery he recommended. His bluntness is the reason I consented. (I might have waffled if he had not been so direct.) Dr. Hackney also solved my problem of having enough catheters on hand monthly by increasing my order to the maximum. His front-office staff and nurses were friendly and helpful on all occasions. As well, the nurses returned my calls with medical questions. Finally, Dr. Hackney moved his office to East Medica Cener Blvd., which made for much easier parking.

Had several visits. What we learned is that communications are very poor, way too much important time elapses because of that and medical conditions can worsen.

Since my first appointment Dr Hackney Was there for me the whole entire way. He was really good about instructing me on what to do and then following up with me. The process we went through before ultimately deciding that surgery was our only option made me feel like there was no stone unturned and that we really tried everything possible. I’m glad I went with Dr Hackney for my penile prosthesis implant . And trust me when I say that feeling comfortable with that wasn’t easy! Thank you Dr Hackney for an amazing job and thank you for making me feel comfortable!

I love the care Dr Hackney have given me for my bladder cancer treatment and the preventative care. I even referred my mother to him related to her kidney stones with continuous shock treatment with no understanding from another dr, now my mother feel so relieved/ the assurance of no possible cancer after seeing Dr Hackney. I, ve had treatments from another dr, but Dr Hackney is the best. Ask a question/ he really explains it. His staff is friendly too! Yes, I would recommed Dr Hackney.

Very comfortable. Answer all my questions. After procedure called the next day to check on my health. I would recommend Dr Hackney for anyone needing a urologist.

Dr. Hackney and his entire staff are friendly & courteous. They make you very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Hackney explained every part of the course of treatment. The office staff are caring and answered any questions I had. I will refer anyone needing a urologist to Dr. Hackney’s practice.

Dr. Hackney takes the time to explain things to me so I can understand and help make informed decisions on my health care. He is an excellent Dr. and surgeon.

He diagnosed my problem and corrected it. Have have no problems urinating now for over a year....

I love this place. everyone is so nice an Dr. Hackney is the best. Elizabeth is the best omg words cant explain. Tashia is very nice and always answer all question. Nereyda is wonderful and always reply asap. Robert at the front desk is very nice and fast. Also the young lady who makes the new pt appt is very nice.

I have tried for WEEKS to talk to someone in the ioffice about changing an appointment, I have left me number several times, but noone returns my call. It is earlier to get ahold of someone in the Kremelin,

Hasn't determined if he is going to finish what he started while I was in the hospital; because of insurance.
