Unwilling to correct billing error
My friend suggested this office. I came for a physical and they billed it as an office visit instead of an annual wellness visit. The NP corrected the billing but office mgr changed it back. Office refuses to correct this and is charging me for visit and labs not covered by my insurance. They refuse to return my calls. Not happy with the service here. I will not go back.

Failure to honor a medicine request
Tried for two days to get my prescription refilled. Copelands office was told they would send the request to Walgreens in Gold Canyon. Checked through the day at Walgreens and was told every time they had no record of a refill request. Went back to Copelands office and told them Walgreens never received a request from that doctor. This went on for two days with them not being truthful about why my prescription was never received. Either the agents that work in Copelands off are lying or they are very incompetent. Denying a patient the medicine they need and lying that it was sent is a very serious matter that may destined for the courts.Unbelievable!!!!!

I’ve never seen Dr only nurse practitioner
I see Romella nurse practice right. 66 yr old woman with a UTI not responding to antibiotic. Tried calling many times and was on hold. After a considerable amount of time, it directed me to leave a voicemail then the call disconnected completely. I drove to the office and the surly girl at check in stated I need an appointment (3 days away this is Friday) rather than leaving sample and seeing Dr on the Monday Appointment they had available, I need to wait till Monday CV nurse practitioner leave a sample and then wait for results from that. Well, that’s unacceptable

Compassionate, Kind, Attentive
Dr. Copeland is my Mothers Physician, she lives in another state. This doctor is always attentive, answers phone after hours. Picked up the slack of another doctor (surgeon) who didnt respond to a clear Infection. I highly recommend her.

Incompetent office
Dr Copeland is supposedly my primary Dr. However, in 3 years, I have never met her and only happened to talk to her on the phone once during the Covid lockdowns. The original PA I met with was fine. Ran the standard labs etc. No problems. It was really convenient to have the bloodwork done on site. The last PA I saw kept insinuating I had heart issues. I've NEVER had heart issues. All my numbers came back normal. She insisted that further tests were NEEDED to check my palpable pulse. She even put in my visit notes that I had abnormal findings and chronic cardiovascular disorders. Of course, the test came back normal. It just seemed like she was looking for something to be wrong so she could order tests. When I went into the office to ask for my patient records about the visit - they don't have an online patient portal. Seriously?- I was yelled at and told that I came in because I had pain in my abdomen. Not true. Good bye Dr Copeland office! Not going back ever!

1.) Given wrong day for general appt. .. arrived on a Friday and nobody was there. NO REMINDER CALL either. Calls to reschedule not returned. 2.) I later I broke my pelvic bone, went to ER and doc gave ibuprofen.(Have you ever tried to sleep on broken bones with ibuprofen only? I called Dr. C's office several times, no return calls. When I spoke to Jennifer (?) she said to come in at 10.20 .. I let her know it would only be for Rx. I wobbled in on my walker but was 10 minutes late. First they told me they had no record of me. When I said I dialed it direct from the website, they looked harder and found me. "You're too late," I was told. They did't have enough time for me. I repeated that I only needed Rx, not tell my life story. Today is FRIDAY and I have to suffer the weekend with OTC ibuprofen since my ER Rx is out. I will call once more today to see if they could make an effort to fit me in. If not, I'm sending off this review. Voicemail now answers the phone at 3 p.m.

You will not find a better physician. With internal medicine and cardiology as her two main areas, she deeply understands how our bodies work, and a great kindness lets her understand the rest.

Love my doctor – Jun 02, 2018

I was impressed by the amount of time Dr. Copeland spent with me on my initial visit. She was very easy to talk to and I felt she truly listened to all of my concerns. My long time Dr. recently passed away and it has been difficult to find someone who takes the time to listen.

I am 78 years of age. I have been to many doctors. Dr Copeland is by far one of the best. She is an excellent listener and does not take chances with your health. I would and have recommended her to friends and associates. She was recommended to me by my Urologist 6 years ago. I have found that she is well respected.

Dr. Copeland is a "one in a million" doctor who practices old fashion "I want to get to know you and I will not cut you off at 8 minutes! I'm here to really hear you!" She's been my doctor for 20 years and she's very real, very approachable, thorough and even the nurses at Banner Hospital told me she was one of the best out here! She listens. She does not hesitate to make referrals, to order tests, to get the big picture as to your health issues. My entire family uses her and we just love her.
