Dr. Barker was professional, caring and to the point. Dr. Barker was with me and my family every step of the way through very scary moments in my cancer treatment. Dr. Barker took care of the problems surrounding the cancer with speed and kept my family informed every step of the way.

My first experience with Dr. Barker was in October, 2019 he was exceptional as he explained the options for my prostate cancer. I elected to take the radiation treatments; we met once each week during the treatments as follow-up. From every meeting with him, he was informative about my situation and compassionate about my concerns and feelings. He listens to you, a blessing. Now that I have had a post follow up review with him we believe we are on the right path to beating the cancer. He is extremely professional, dedicated, compassionate and righteous. Godspeed to you Dr. Barker, Thank You.

Less than a year ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer. Dr Barker met with me and my wife and explained how challenging treatment would be and even stated that we would not like him towards the end! He prayed with us which meant everything. It’s been an incredibly difficult journey but Dr. Barker and his team is great and I am now making plans instead of final plans.

Two years ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. My urologist recommend Dr Barker for treatment. I have been very pleased with Dr Barker and the rest of the staff at Texas Oncology. From the Receptionist to the Nurses and Radiation Therapist. Everyone has made for an great experience. I had 44 treatments if radiation therapy, that's every weekday for 9 weeks. It's inpatient so everyday you must go , but it was a time I looked forward to. They make it a positive experience. Now my PSA is 0.
