Dr. Jess Lyon, DO

Saw Dr Lyon at Urgent Care on a weekend. He did not say hello, good morning, hi, how are you or anything. He came in and made fun of my child and then got extremely mad at my child. I would decline treatment from him if I ever meet him in the future. I was also told by others who work in the hospital that he is not well regarded.

I had Dr Lyon help me about 7 years ago with some kidney stones and he was extremely helpful in having me see a specialist the next day. I saw the specialist that day and had surgery that day. I could have died if I had not seen Dr. Lyon. I am here today at urgent care and am seeing Dr. Lyon about another issue and I am sure he will figure this out as well.

Very friendly and professional. Took care of my problem with great care and consideration for my comfort.

I saw dr Dr Jess Lyon at Cox Urgent Care.He was very compassionate,knowledgeable and professional.He was thorough in his exam and ordered appropriate testing.

I was at Cox Urgent Care for a migraine I couldn't get rid of, and Dr. Lyon was responsive and courteous. The nurse spoke loudly, sucked snot down his throat, would let an hour lapse between checks, and required every light on in the room each time he entered. Dr. Lyon, on the other hand, was sympathetic to my symptoms and did his best to keep me comfortable until meds began working. I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again, as needed, in the future.

I have had the unfortunate event of dealing with Mr. Jess Lyon DO at cox south urgent care more than once. He seems to be the standing doctor for urgent care. I have been to this facility rarely but when I do it it almost nearly always him. Absolute inconsiderate, does not truly listen to his patients. The man actually diagnosed me without an exam, mri, xray or reviewing my medical records. Diagnosis was lumbar radiculitis. My lumbar region was in no pain. He wasted his employers time and my $$

My husband saw Dr. Lyon in the UC at Cox for upper abdomen pain. Dr. Lyon was very compassionate and didn't take the easy way out- he kept ordering tests until a diagnosis was found. He delivered the hardest news we've ever heard with kindness and great patience as we asked questions. He gave us options and helped direct us in our next step for care.

I saw this person at Cox Urgent care. He was rude, EXTREMELY arrogant, popping his gum while speaking to me. I am fat and a smoker, and I realize that those are problems I brought on myself. However, my primary care doctor left his practice and I needed my prescription filled. It was a narcotic and knowing the stigma of that I went three days without pain medications. And sure enough this person was arrogant and rude, treated me like a nothing. Shame on you, Dr. Lyon!!!!
