Saved My Husbands Life
Dr. Schwartz saved my husbands life, hands down. When my husband was admitted into the hospital after a ER visit where we thought he had covid-19 but turned out his left lung had collapsed due to a rare case of tuberculosis Dr. Schwartz stepped in and performed not one but two back to back Pleural Effusion's. Amazing Doctor/Surgeon/Man, this is the person you want in your corner and by your side when the stakes are high and your life is on the line. We quite literally owe this man our lives and are forever grateful to his and his team.

My family and I will be forever grateful to Dr. Schwartz and his incredible medical team. When they say they will take care of you as if you were a member of their family, they really do! He has an excellent academic preparation and he showed it in the quick intervention he had on my tumor. His credentials and certifications speak for themselves. My family and I will recommend Dr. Schwartz and his team with our eyes closed! Thank you for saving my life!

Dr. Schwartz is an amazing physician. He is highly skilled, extremely knowledgeable, and vastly experienced. He makes sure his patients understand their condition, and the procedure, and recovery. I am thankful every day he agreed to take me on as a patient, he truly saved my life. I do not think he will ever know how thankful I am. With all that said Dr. Schwartz has a terrible bed side manner. He can be curt and rude. He made me cry on at least three occasions. If he is your doctor, you need to be thick-skinned, because he is intense. Bedside manner aside he is the best doctor I've ever had the privilege to deal with he is rough around the edges, but he cares for all his patients and will always go the extra mile.

I am now two years out from my lung cancer surgery and I am immensely grateful for Dr. Jess Schwartz, the oncology surgeon who operated on me in February, 2018. I researched his background and credentials and was very impressed. I believe that Dr. Schwartz has achieved a high level of skill. Of special significance to me is that Dr. Schwartz, during the surgery, and after receiving the pathologist report showing a narrow margin, decided to immediately return to the lung site and remove a wedge section of my upper right lobe. Now I am 2 years out with a clear scan. I appreciated that Dr. Schwartz was able to answer all my questions. Prior to surgery Dr. Schwartz reassured me about the care teams qualifications and concern for me. Due to his reassurance, this allowed my immune system to perform better in recovery. Dr. Schwartz has the skills needed to operate the robotic da Vinci Machine. The operation went smoothly and my recovery time was much shorter than I had anticipated. Happy

He all but accused me of having a history of IV drug use! He even asked to see my teeth I have never felt so degraded in my life. He was arrogant and not helpful at all. I went to him after 3 surgeons saw a tumor on my 1st rib and all he could say was I see nothing to be concerned about! My rib is broke, dislocated and has something on it but I shouldn't be concerned! I left in tears. A doctor should never make a patient feel that way.

Dr. Schwartz is a world class surgeon. We are so fortunate to have him here in New Mexico. He performed my cancer surgery 9 years ago and continues to follow-up with me to be sure it has not recurred.

Dr. Schwartz is an excellent surgeon, I had a tumor in my lung and he had to remove half of my lung to make sure the whole tumor was removed, he drew me diagrams and made sure I understood exactly what was happening. He has followed up with me and made sure that all is well and that the cancer has stayed away. I would never consider seeing anyone else. He made sure he saw me through from beginning to end. Highly recommended Dr.

Dr. Jess Schwartz is an excellent surgeon and caregiver. I was referred to Dr. Schwartz due to a complicated cancer surgery on my chest. The surgery went well, recovery and follow-up by Dr. Schwartz and his team was thorough and caring. I am very pleased with the outcome.

Dr Schwartz has no bedside manner. He is short and abrupt. However, he was recommended to me by other pulmonary & thoracic professionals and proved to be very capable and concerned with my condition. I was not looking for a friend, I needed a competent surgeon and Dr. Schwartz was excellent. I would not go bar hopping with Dr. Schwartz, but I felt very comfortable and secure in his care. He needs to treat his co-workers more kindly.
