Excellent care overall
I have been seeing Dr. Allan over six years now. She has always been extremely reliable, understanding, and above all an extremely knowledgeable doctor. She is an Internist but she also specializes in several other areas of medicine. I can’t praise her enough for all the help she has offered me over this years. You’ll find the most welcoming environment at her practice. Bill, the practice manager, is punctually and consistently beyond efficient while always being helpful and friendly. Dr. Allan and her staff always go above and beyond to ensure that whatever patient need may be necessary is absolutely met with efficiency and always taken care of to the fullest extent. I cannot express how thankful I am for every time they’ve outdone themselves to make sure that I was OK, even under the most extraordinary circumstances, always making sure that I was in a safe place with excellent care and assistance.

I have been a longtime healthy patient, until recently, but if you need follow-up care, don't see her. Bedside manner is great, long wait times, but between the lack of follow-thru with referrals/authorizations for specialist, procedures, or medication, and questionable billing practices, this is not the doctor for you. It's bad when the medical assistant calls a specialist, in front of you, which you thought was for an appointment for you, to confirm her husband's appointment instead. A big HIPPA violation. When still trying to see the same specialist, you find out that after 11 emails with office, specialist referral/auth still can't be done and the office requests you try to work out their issues with your insurance company. Don't let your healthcare be disrupted.

This is a money racket! After being a patient for 4 years, I get slapped with an $800 bill for "visits" that never occurred. I'm told that I am being charged for every time my medical record had to be "opened"even though they were only needed because of mistakes her office made. Don't even bother to call her office as no one ever picks up and emails are not responded to. I was told that the only way I can continue to receive my medication is if I start over like a new patient, aka pay for multiple visits in the first month. As Dr. Allan put it, "I have expenses to worry about!" The executive director, Bill Tomic was beyond rude and was trying to make excuses for his inability to run the office appropriately. I've been a patient with Dr. Allan for 4 years now and never had an issue until Bill took over the day to day office. Now I am hooked on all kinds of meds Dr. Allan prescribed with no way of getting my refills. Money for pills...hmm where have I heard that before?

Been an inconsistent patient of Dr. Allan's for abt 3yrs (i'd visit an urgent care facility unless I have no choice). In 03/17 she prescribed something she felt was necessary for my health to be taken daily but hasn't allowed any refills on it. I got ill in 04/17 so she asked to hold off on taking it until I got better. Now that i ask for a refill since I started taking it again, her receptionist tells me to come in so she can charge the ins an office visit, she doesn't work for free!!! What??
