Dr Altman is one of the nicest doctors I have ever met. I have no doubt that her and my local oncologist saved my life. My cancer was tricky to beat since it had to deal with the blood and I am a Jehovah's witness. Sometimes treatments are not so clear but she went the extra mile and found a treatment plan for me. I am cancer free now and my stay at Northwestern was very pleasant. It felt more like a vacation than a hospital stay. My team of doctors at NWM gave me great confidence to heal.

I have a family member seeing this doctor and she is very rude. She does not want to answer questions and she does not visit patients in the hospital. In addition, she does not give people a schedule of the next events. There is no eye contact while talking to the doctor.
