Finally someone to listen to me
Jessica has and will listen to what you need to say and discuss in detail with out making you feel rushed unlike most doctors. She’s not in it for the money and just want to push things on you she wants to work with what your comfortable with and is very compassionate. I’m so happy I found her as a doctor she’s the first one to make me feel welcome and the first one to listen to me all the way through without cutting me off or put words in my mouth. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would she deserves it. Her office staff is just as awesome as she is!

So Impressed
Dr Bocook was so personable and approachable. She was easy to talk to and answered my questions. She reviewed my history and was interested in getting reports from all of my doctors. I like having a Family doc who will take charge of my health care.

Asked several questions to where she was very dismissive. Mentioned a specialist doctor to whom I was debating on seeing. Due to his financial interests, she bluntly stated that I could see whoever I wanted, but she would not refer him to me. Of course, she was all ready to refer me to the specialist she was seeing. She was walking out of the exam room with computer in hand as I was still talking to her. Very rude and felt like she had better things to do. My husband had appointment the following day and did not get a good feeling from her either.

Dr. Bocook is a referral service. She was unable to diagnose several very simple but serious conditions with both my husband and I, leading to pain, difficulty and trouble with time. I do not recommend her for anything.

A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Bocook and I couldn't be happier! I have searched for a high quality Primary Care Physician since moving to Southport 4 years ago and finally found one in Dr. Bocook. There was barely any waiting time to be seen and Dr. Bocook took her time with me during my appointment. She is kind, caring and thorough. I highly recommend her!

I came down with the flu- Bronchitis. Dr Bocook no availability. I went to the ER. They took blood, my white blood cells were at 2.5. Healthy levels are between 5-10.8 to fight infection. The ER Doctor insisted that I contact Dr Bocook for additional blood work asap, possible infection or Cancer concerns? I left a voice message. I was contacted & lectured by Keana that Dr Bocook would not authorize blood work as I hadn't been examined by her? Shame on her! I work 6A-6P everyday. Family practice?

I am a practicing wellness Dr. for 37 yrs. I called the office for a wellness exam appt. "We don't schedule new patients until an intake form is completed & reviewed to determine acceptance." I went to the office to fulfill the requirement for intake consideration. The staff member I dealt with was extremely rude, disrespectful & condescending. I submitted my intake; knowing I'd never return. Ten days later, I get a call, "we are not accepting you as a patient ... too many sick people." WOW!

I choose. Dr. Bocook, when my health insurance changed. Very nice staff. I had a hacking, horrific cough for a few months, and was desperate for relief first, and a solution second. I was told to buy more OTC meds, until something worked. The doctor totally ignored my pleas for help to arrest the cough, or help with grotesque insomnia, told to see an allergist. I finally found a proactive, provider, willing to help me when I needed it. I am on the mend! I would not reccommend this practice.

I would give this a one star but i've not had the pleasure of utilizing this physician. My wife supposedly had an appointment and was recently called by her office and appointment was cancelled because "she wasn't a good fit." How do you know if you are capable/competent enough to see a patient if you haven't seen them yet. I've been in healthcare for 36 years and this is a first. I would love to know the real reason for the cancellation.

I found Dr. Bocook to be very condescending, she did not listen to me and I do not think that she is very thorough. I have seen her about four times for wellness visits and the last one was for UT symptoms. Examples: I was found to have osteopenia and she had absolutely no advice for me as how I could help prevent it from progressing. She was dismissed me when I said that I was concerned that a known small Cystocele could have gotten larger. (it had per gyn). Staff was nice, wait was short.

Dr. Bocook takes time and discusses thoroughly with you what health concerns you have, test results, what those results mean, & what plans of treatment for your health issues. I came as a new patient after moving to a new area. It was evident that Dr. Boccok had actually read IN DETAIL my past medical records from my previous physicians & hospitals(which were extensive). She had made notes, and confirmed with me that the information was accurate, then asked questions. She is wonderful!
