Dr. Jessica Cabodi, MD

She's my mom PCP and I made an appointment because of concerns about my mom's memory. I knew some kind of dementia was involved but Dr. Cabodi kind of yawned it off and blamed it on stress. I know HMOs are being squeezed for the amount of time they spend with their patients, at least this is true of Swedish and UW physicians. & it's the Dr's practicing Family medication that have it the worst, Dr. Cabodi however, gave me the impression that showing concern & discussing anything besides my mom showing stress would mean too much work. Well, here we are 9 months later, and my mom's dementia has her being seen specialists after an accident took my mom to the hospital without Dr. Cabodi in the picture.

Dr Cabodi is excellent. She asks and answers questions; works holistically. At 72 I am so fortunate to find a physician who is not too young and not likely ready to retire soon. I trust her.

I have seen Jessica Cabodi for several years. She is kind, patient, well informed and helps keep me at ease. I am so thankful she is so well informed. She also is understanding when I prefer other options to taking medication.

In our intial appt. she was decisive and confident and knew just what was wrong. Then when she referred me to a specialist they contradicted everything she said. When I called to ask her how to get a 2nd opinion like from a specialist and a way to proceed to find a diagnosis she was arrogant and defensive and rude. I switched Dr.s. Unforunately, she was on call one night and was again rude, unhelpful and when asked for the simplest thing-nearest ER, she was put out."I don't know!!". Neat.
