Dismissive
Dr. Capote was very dismissive of a medical concern I had for my child. She insisted that it was a psychiatric issue and refused to even do basic lab work. Thankfully I found a new pediatrician willing to listen to my concerns. Needless to say, Dr. Capote was very wrong in her assessment of my child and was not open to listening to my concerns.

Incompetent
After repeated visits, dr Capote is unable to diagnose the issue with my child and provides poor referrals to other "specialists" who are just as clueless. Look elsewhere for a competent pediatrician if you want results. Her ego is also a major drawback. I can understand having a "I know it all ego" if you know what you're doing and can do your job but that's not the case here. Too passive and not interested in finding cures...just another in$urance claim for her. Sad...really. what happened to medical ethics???

This is by far one of the best Pediatricians I have every had the pleasure of meeting. I have 5 children. Two of which have had special needs. She is always prompt to respond to concerns and give quality and exceptional care. I have a son with Autism and a daughter with Cleft Lip and Palate. Without her guidance and attentiveness- I don't know how we would have made it. I am a nurse and fully trust my children's lives in her hands. I feel like she is best of the best!!!
