Dr. McCoy is very rude and condescending. Truly unprofessional. More worried about judging you than actually treating patients. Has a holier than thou attitude and doesn't properly treat patients. Run the other way or demand a different provider if she comes into your room, unless you like being treated poorly and not getting a proper diagnosis.

I came to the ER because of a persistent cough. Dr. McCoy asked many questions, ran some tests, and before the results diagnosed her suspicions. When the results came back she was spot on. Dr. McCoy is thorough, kind, and knowledgeable.

Made accusations about me when I was in the ER about something she knew absolutely nothing about. She didn’t treat me at all…just came in the room for about 3 minutes trying to accuse me about something that was absolutely not true. The rest of the staff at South Haven ER were fabulous.

Dr. McCoy was incredibly lacking in her professional abilities. I had gone to the South Haven location because I thought I was having a stroke they were unable to do an MRI there so they transferred me to Kalamazoo. Dr McCoy determined through an ultrasound of my eye that I had a detached retina. I was then discharged at approximately 2 am with cab fare to a hotel. I was admitted the next day to University of Michigan where an MRI was completed. I had indeed suffered a stroke. I could go on
