Dr. Jessica Poteet, DO

I was referred to Dr. Poteet for gender affirming care. My first visit I had no idea what to expect but within the first few minutes of meeting her I knew she was cool. Respectful, knowledgeable, very good at explaining different options. She asked up front meeting me what name and pronouns I preferred and she and her staff have always stuck to that 100%, even before I changed my name legally.

If you're looking for a gynecologist, SHE IS THE BEST! Dr. Poteet is an absolute lifesaver. Prior to meeting with her, I'd never had an experience where I felt like I was truly heard. She listened to my concerns, offered different solutions, and then let me have an active role in my treatment plan. I've never felt more comfortable in a doctor's office. Dr. Poteet is also really good about explaining things in a way that's understandable to somebody who hasn't been to medical school. I honestly can't recommend her enough. She's down to earth, extremely friendly, helpful, and overall a very good doctor.

I cannot say enough good things about this office! From the front office to the doctors assistants, everyone was so friendly, professional, and kind. And Dr. Poteet was AMAZING! Very kind, very knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help me with my issues. I would highly recommend this office. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I just wish she could be my GP.

I absolutely love Dr. Poteet! She is so fun, knowledgable, and very down to earth. She makes you feel super comfortable, and makes those awkward conversations you need to have super relaxed and easy to talk about. She is very passionate about her patients and truly cares about them. I would recommend her to everyone!
