Dr. Powers didn't explain a lot. She just went me here & there 4 scans and for chemo. I was talking with one of her associates at her office during wound care and was told to immediately go to Vaca Valley Hospital because I was having a urinary tract infection that wasn't going away after several antibiotics. I complied. I was admitted to a very nice room, only later to have it explained to me that I was being moved to the ER to wait for an ambulance to pick me up and take me to North Bay in Fairfield for a surgical procedure. The procedure had nothing to do with my bladder infection. They wanted to remove the kidney stone I've had in my right kidney since 2017. I later heard from the nurse that they wouldn't be taking me because the surgeon at NorthBay in Fairfield, DENIED THE REQUEST CAUSE THE KIDNEY STONE WAS NOT A DANGER TO ME! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you search for a different Dr. and a different cancer center! All theses people are interested in is bilking your insurance!
