Patient and Thorough
My visit was to activate my Inspire device. Dr. Riggs was patient as we thoroughly went over all the details of the Inspire system. She took her time and answered all my questions while reassuring my confidence that the device would restore restful sleep if I was patient with steps needed to adjust .

Outstanding Support from Dr. Riggs and Staff
Dr. Riggs, and the staff, really take their time to understand your issue and respond accordingly. Dr. Riggs is always pleasant, takes her time, and listens, even though I'm sure she's backed up with patients like most practices. On several occasions, she and the staff have provided outstanding service before and after appointments. They not only make you feel like a valued patient, but they are also highly effective at treatment and support.

Very thorough and took time to go over my BIPAP numbers and new BIPAP - and found it to be working very well and pleased I am able to sleep 8-9 hours a night with very few incidents!

Exceptionally knowledgeable, personable, & caring
I recently moved to Ashburn, VA, from Florida. Just before the move, following a home sleep test, I received a call from someone at the Florida sleep center indicating that I had severe sleep apnea (AHI 44.2). She followed the sudden and unexpected diagnosis with "Do you want me to order you a CPAP machine?" With no follow-up from my Florida sleep doctor, I decided to wait. After arriving in Virginia, I did some research online and decided to see Dr. Riggs. At my first visit, she discussed the potential relationship between sleep apnea and my atrial fibrillation. She also outlined the pros and cons of various treatments, including dental appliances, CPAP/APAP/BiPAP machines, and even surgical solutions. Her exceptional knowledge and recommendations led me to agree to use a ResMed AirSense 10. She also outlined the advantages of various APAP/DME providers. The bottom line -- My AHI is now regularly between 4.9 and 5.2. Dr. Riggs really cares about her patients. She is truly exceptional.

Home Sleep Test (HRT VA) 9/20/2022
Dr. Riggs went over the monitor test results in details and was very helpful to respond to any question I ask - -there were several. She was especially patient friendly and made my time with her outstanding. I would recommend Dr. Riggs without equivocation to any one taking such test.
