I found Dr Riordan last year after moving from Arizona. I really like her! She does a professional visit. She is very informed and goes above and beyond to help me understand my questions or concerns.

I would not recommend if you have chronic health issues or want to be in charge of your health. I saw an amazing doctor who, unfortunately, is retiring so my surgery was set with Dr. Riodan instead. I have a connective tissue disease so I'd like to keep my cervix for extra support. She absolutely refused to do the surgery if I wanted to go this route. It was her way or the highway. She never asked questions about my health issues to learn more or why I felt it was important to keep my cervix. This doesn't seem right to me. I know my body best. If my cervix is not diseased why remove it? Now I have to wait to find a new surgeon when I'm needing this exploratory surgery as soon as possible. Just having the hysterectomy while already under since I'm a slow healer and this is the right choice for my body, avoiding multiple procedures. Women should have more compassion for each other, especially in the medical system since we're often disregarded.

She was precise in telling me what she wanted to do, what would happen and how I would feel. She also told me how to take care of the procedure afterwards. I appreciate that.
