When my daughter was hospitalized at St. John's Providence following surgery, Dr. Jessica Yee was her attending physician. Dr. Yee was attentive, responsive, kind, and compassionate. She put me at ease and included me in making decisions regarding my daughter's care. This team approach resulted in the best possible outcomes for my daughter. I would not hesitate to have Dr. Yee care for my family in the future.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with Dr. Jessica Yee's care during my father's recent hospitalization at St. John's Hospital. While initially satisfactory, her actions raised concerns.Dr. Yee expressed a preference against sedation for patients with a stroke history, yet she ordered it for my father's MRI without clear benefit. Additionally, her eagerness to transition my father to rehab raised questions about the thoroughness of his assessment.On the day of my father's passing, Dr. Yee, seemingly fatigued, expressed her tiredness, which I found highly inappropriate. Despite my request for another doctor, the response was untimely.I also have concerns about my father's care. If further discussions with his doctor occur, please inquire about the reasons for not transferring him to the ICU and the decision against ventilator use despite respiratory failure.In light of these experiences, I cannot recommend Dr. Jessica Yee for others' care.
