About 10 years ago, Dr. Kaouk operated on my husband for an aggressive prostate cancer. Not only is my husband cancer free after 10 years, he was able to fully recover all functionality after a radical prostatectomy. I highly recommend Dr Kaouk's skill and expertise.

I am a recent cancer patient of Dr. Jihad Kaouk of Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. He performed a radical prostatectomy using his latest surgical technique. I could not have imagined a better outcome. Stage 3a tumor gleason score 7 cancer was surgically removed with negative margins. I was released from hospital a few hours after completion of the surgery. I had catheter removed after only 3 days post surgery with immediate urinary continence. I Just received my five week post op PSA test result. No detectable PSA. While being diagnosed with prostate cancer can be worrisome, Dr. Kaouk (highly competent and humble of heart) and his entire staff acted vigilantly to ensure the very best care would be provided to me throughout my journey. If the doctor and the hospital sue the patient after receiving poor care why would you risk going to the same place that Retired Air Force Colonel David Antoon went and ended up incontinent and impotent? Does that make any sense?

Dr Kaouk and his team deserve ten stars but that is not an option. Not only is he on the vanguard of robotic surgery and the use of technology, but he is also empathic and concerned with every aspect of recovery. His exceptional skill led to a very positive outcome for my husband and our family.

Dr. Kaouk is my life saver. He is patient and caring a good listener and made me feel at ease. Give realistic expectations and explains procedures with care and detail. I researched my prostate cancer treatment options thoroughly before settling on Dr. Kaouk. His reputation amongst his peers is very impressive to the point that he is a surgeon of choice for their own treatment. The entire experience with Dr. Kaouk, his staff and the Cleveland Clinic was close to flawless. I'm happy to say that my surgery was a complete success with a very fast recovery. It has been almost 2 1/2 years since my surgery and I'm still cancer free.

On our 1st visit to Dr Kaouk, we were very impressed and we were told there was possibility of surgery for my father. After the 1st visit, we were referred to other specialists at Cleve Clinic.. The cardiologist approved my father for surgery and a biopsy. When I tried to schedule a follow up appt, his assistant, Traci, was extremely rude. She would hang up on me. Two months later he cancelled our appt, and had his colleague meet to us tell us he would not operate because of my father's age.

Used Dr. Kaouk for robotic assisted simple prosatectomy. Although quite anxious about the procedure, I could not be happier with results. Only needed to spend one night in hospital following surgery. Pain from incisions was minimal. Foley catheter removed one week following surgery, and basically life is back to normal. Dr. Kaouk's skill and his procedure was instrumental in achieving such excellent results.

Dr Kaouk left me impotent, incontinent, with severe unreported blood loss, and allowed doctors in training to perform my surgery without my knowledge and in violation of my consent. He has harmed many patients and falsely represented credentials he did not possess. Avoid this doctor if you value your health.
