Dr. Jill Rau, MD

Dr Rau has listened to me and has never made me feel disregarded from my 1st visit with her. I honestly feel like she genuinely cares about my health, both physically and mentally. If I didn't have her and my primary, I don't think I could continue to fight all of the medical issues that keep coming up. I fully trust her and her recommendations.

Honestly, going to Dr. Jill Rau was one of the worst experiences of my life. She just doesn’t care or pay attention—half the time she was just looking down at some notes and not responding or saying much. When she did listen, she seemed to brush off everything I said, especially about the horrible headaches I was dealing with. It felt like she didn’t believe me or just didn’t care.She also dropped the ball big time by not calling in a critical prescription right before a long holiday weekend, which really put me in a bind. Then, she flat-out lied about it. The only thing halfway decent about the place was how clean it was, and that’s obviously not enough to make up for such terrible medical care.I strongly recommend finding a neurologist who actually cares about their patients and listens. Dr. Rau was just awful—rude, dismissive, and honestly, it felt like she was just in it for the paycheck. Please, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

I suffer from severe migraines and have tried everything from cutting out sugars and changing my diet to get them to stop and nothing helped. My PCP referred me to Dr. Rau but she was so booked I couldn’t see her until Feb which was a 4 month wait. I scheduled the appt because I heard she was the best. Now 4 days before the appt they called to cancel and reschedule til JUNE, it’s February. For someone who specializes in migraines and understands how detrimental they can be, it’s been quite the experience of hurry up and wait. Not mention the original specialist in this office also treated me poorly. And the office assistant Doris was a peach smh. I’m glad Dr Rau was able to help others, too bad for me I guess.

She was extremely detailed and very communicative when dealing with my wife over her problems. Best doctor I've met with in many years.
