Dr. Vargo has been treating me for over 15 years. She was able to diagnosis my RA when on one else could. She is an angel for me, my life has been so much better since I began seeing her. I would recommend her to everyone. She is always cheerful and is truly concerned about my well being.

Sent here after requesting a different rheumatologist that I had seen before. I would not recommend her to anyone. I waited in the waiting room over an hour, in the exam room 30 minutes while listening to her plan a trip on the phone and talking in the hallway for at least that 30 minutes planning this trip or to office people about her personal life with me sitting there. I finally got up and left but all three visits with her office were terrible. RUDE.

I have been seeing Dr. Vargo for several years for osteoporosis and osteoarthritis. She is well versed in both areas and has helped me considerably. She is willing to listen and plan my treatment with input from me even if I might be wrong. The staff is very courteous and goes out of their way to help.

Saw her twice, lab work was done that showed I had elevated inflammation markers. However, she told me, despite the pain that I was seeing her about and the constant edema, that everything "looked fine" and that I was "just overweight". I've been dealing with chronic synovitis and inflammation since I was 14, it was nothing unusual for me to gain 10 pounds over night, but according to her, I'm just fat and need to lose weight.

without going into a lot of history, this doctor should have hr license revoked. I was treated like a drug addict looking for narcotics, when I explicitly said I was looking for alternative treatment. I tried to see her again for osteoporosis treatment and she wouldn't even consider seeing me. Don't see this doctor!

Dr. Vargo listened to complicated history, did thorough history and examination, explained tentative diagnosis with prognosis, prescribed medications, did x ray and labs on site. She spent time answering questions and developing treatment plan. The only problem is she is so busy that a follow up appt could not be made by front staff and would be handled when cancellations occur...assurances were given that timely follow up would occur.
