Dr. Jillian Henry, MD

Dr. Henry's prenatal care of me during my high risk pregnancy was subpar to say the least. She completely blew off my concerns. She did not complete routine testing or cervical checks and completely rushed through appointments. Dr. Henry had her office manager Carla whom has no medical degree and/or training calling me and dictating my care and attempting to bully me anytime I brought up a concern that violated ACOG standard of care or IDPH guidelines. Dr. Henry refused to let me transfer providers in the office, yet per Carla office manager I would have whoever was on call delivering baby, yet not allowed to see anyone else during my prenatal care who might actually do the cervical checks and GBS swab as is a standard of care at 36 weeks pregnant. Appointments also are not able to be scheduled when you are available, it is strictly done off her availability and you are told when to show up and if not you cannot be seen.

It was suggested that see Dr. Henry last year when I began to have abnormal and extremely heavy bleeding last year. At the time, I was beyond satisfied with her and her team. The care that received was amazing. The issues though came back and her care became less then. At her request, I spent the first part of this year trying several different birth control options that have failed to fix the issue. She wouldn't have a conversation about potential surgical fixes because of my age. She then pushed me off to on of her partners who blew my issues and concerns off in a five minute visit. I am sure you have normal or near normal periods her treatment is wonderful but if you are like me, please be warned.

I had a very pleasant experience at my appointment. My issues were taken seriously and the appropriate referral was made. The nurse was prompt and kind. There was spa like music playing in the background that was soothing. I felt like Dr. Henry took her time with me and I wasn't just another patient to her. I highly recommend Dr. Henry for your OBGYN needs.

I love Dr. Henry. I came to her after complaining to my regular doctor for months with pain. She found the source of my pain, scheduled a test within a week. She took time to listen to me, I felt validated! Her bedside manner and care she has is amzaing and the best I have had in my 51 years.

I LOVE HER!!! Dr. Henry is hands down has the best bedside manner and relationships with her patients. When I go to see her, I feel like I am more than just a patient. Not only is she very helpful, kind, considerate, and knowledgable....she is also a sweetheart!! Her staff......AMAZING!! I'm so blessed to have found her!

Dr Henry is an amazing physician, would definitely recommend. She's knowledgeable doors an excellent job explaining your options and making sure you understand them.
