Dr. Jillian Kleiner, MD

Dr. Kleiner knows her stuff so well, and can get right to it - I'm someone who has been in therapy for many years, so I really appreciate her ability to jump right in and not beat around the bush - but also her gentleness when we hit upon something tender. I'm a comedian, and she has the great gift of appreciating my humor without letting me use it as a tool of deflection. My therapy wouldn't be helpful if I can't laugh about the absurdities of life. I've met her both in person and virtually, and I value the time I spend in session immensely.

Does not waste time. Strong and direct, quick to see the bigger picture and knows exactly what to do. Life-saving work is being done here.

Dr Kleiner is an experienced, talented and kind Doctor who has helped enormously. Highly recommend her.

As a result of "receiving" treatment from this physician for over three years, I believe myself quite qualified to review Jillian Kleiner's competence as a psychiatrist. In short, I regard this physician as entirely incompetent to provide psychotherapy services to clients/patients. During the course of my treatment, this physician failed to exercise good judgement in her treatment of my condition. In sum, I'd suggest that patients stay away from this physician.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kleiner (sometimes frequently, sometimes not) for 22 years. I look forward to my meetings with her as I always leave feeling more optimistic than I was when I arrived. She treated my depression, which was severe when I met her. Now she has it well controlled with medications and occasional visits. She is always alert to any change in my reaction to/satisfaction with the meds, and suggests changes (with reasons for her suggestions). I feel safe with her.
