outstanding care
I recently visited the ER at Alta Bates with a mysterious virus and was in terrible pain. I was expecting a long wait, but to my surprise, I was called in to see Dr. Jillian Rosenblum fairly quickly. She listened carefully to my symptoms and immediately took action, even making a call to a specialist to see that I received the best care possible. I didn’t expect much, but she returned promptly and informed me that I was being admitted.Throughout the entire process, Dr. Rosenblum demonstrated not only a high level of professionalism but also an excellent bedside manner. She was empathetic, compassionate, and made me feel at ease during a very difficult time. I’m incredibly grateful for her care and attention.

Finally a Dr that cared and went above and beyond.
I ended up in the ER after having almost a month of a gnarly colitis flare that left me dehydrated, in excruciating pain, and sick of seeing my bathroom. It’s always a long wait in ER’s, especially in the Bay Area but when she got to me she was calm, listened to me, asked questions and came up with a game plan. She reached out to my regular GI Drs in SF to go over test results and come up with a treatment plan. I can’t say how many times I’ve been in the ER and the Dr does everything they can to get you out of there as fast as possible. They ended up sending me home while waiting on test results to finalize the treatment plan. She called me personally, explained the plan and what was going on. This was honestly one of the only times I left an ER feeling like things were going to be okay, and if not she told me to come back and they would admit me. I love when a Dr knows they need the assistance of a specialist and reaches out to out the patient first. I hope she stays around!!
