Dr. Jimena Burnett, MD

I came in to get a full blood panel as I am not feeling well and think I may have anxiety or panic attacks, but not sure. She was extremely argumentative with me and made me feel so uncomfortable as I was looking for a primary healthcare physician. I was shocked the way I was being spoken at as a new patient, she explained to me that I can’t get a full panel because it was late in the day And they’ve all gone home. The staff that made my appointment was fully aware that I was coming in to get a full blood panel. Why couldn’t she have done this herself? She had no answers as to why or how this happened only to make me feel lees then human and simply wasted my time. I was asked to leave and find another primary care physician. Run don’t walk away from this doctor And save yourself the trouble. I believe she cares more about herself!.

My doctor for several years. amazing diagnostician.

I’ve seen Dr Burnett since 2014 and i really like her. She may not kind but whatever she says has a point. If you are looking for soft spoken Dr, she may not for you but if you are looking for honest Dr, she is the one. Also I like her not just giving me meds. She made me try supplements to see if supplements work before give me prescription.

Very cold and brusque, would often dismiss complaints and was very rarely on time for appt.

Dr. Burnett is colder and more uncaring and less sympathetic than any Dr. I have ever seen in my entire life. The reason I went in was something she never addressed although I told the nurse. She has a lot of 1 stars I should have looked before I went.

Definitely would recommend Dr Burnett. She is very knowledgeable in all medical areas and does not let anything slip by her. If she sees the start of any condition she is on it immediately, making sure all test are up to date. She listens very well, takes time to listen and remembers all your past visits and conditions. She comes in the office exceptionally well groomed and upbeat. Wait time is short. If you need a prescription refill you get it that day. When I have blood work done I get a call from her the next day with results. Her staff is joyful. You can tell they all work together well and enjoy their work

Staff is professional and friendly. Dr. Burnett is an excellent doctor who takes the time to listen, explain, and perform. Added bonus, typical lab work is performed in the office. Absolute confidence in she and her team.

Went for pain concerns, I didn't want RX I wanted to know what is wrong. She was more concerned with me getting a mammogram right then, only allow one a year (insurance would not pay for it early!) and told her I was due Feb and I already do that. She did not listen, was more concerned with my weight than my pain. I am still in pain, and no answers. Oh and staff was really rude and messed up appt. but blamed me when I had a appt card.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Burnett and her staff. First, they are always on time and I am in and out, they definitely don’t run on lowcountry time. She is always so patient with me, works hard to get my treatment plan right and answers all of my questions. I am so thankful I found her upon moving to Bluffton.

I will give Dr. Burnett five stars. I thought she was caring, knowledgeable of her profession and very personable. I am looking forward to a long healthy relationship with this office. Today was my first visit.

Dr. Burnett was friendly and professional.

She was very thorough in asking health related questions. And she gave great insight into why she was pursuing some of the paths she was covering. I did not give a 5 star because the office is in great need of cleaning and repair. In fact, i felt somewhat uneasy about the tile flooring.

Literally the worst doctor I have ever been to. I had an appointment for my annual physical but I made the mistake of asking if I should increase my dosage of antidepressants since I struggle with SAD...because I asked this ONE question I, therefore, could no longer have my wellness exam...(This was late in the afternoon and I had been fasting all day) but that didn't seem to matter... She was so rude, no bedside manner at all! I literally left the office and cried in my car for ten minutes due to her total lack of empathy and willingness to be helpful at all. Oh and I just got my insurance bill, they charged my provider $275 for a 4-minute conversation...Never going back there!

Rude, curt, dismissive I will be looking elsewhere for a family physician.

She seemed very perfunctory. She just followed a check list of questions and hustled me out reminding me of the need for vaccinations, " at a time like this" I'm not impressed and will be looking for a new GP who is proactive in making sure elderly patients have screening and CARE that is necessary to detect early illnesses that could be treated or even prevented.

She was rude, curt and lacks empathy or sensitivity to my wife with Alzheimer’s. The Office Manager stated that she doubts her behavior will change and agreed finding another Physician for my wife would be best. Several of her office staff have apologized for her behavior and have assisted in finding a more caring Primary Care Doctor. I wife was upset and said, she,(Dr. Burnett) made me feel stupid and I never want to see her again.

Very rude and bad attitude towards me. Already nervous about being at doctor and she walked in with a very bad attitude. I was completely offended by her tone and the way she addressed me. Never have I experienced such a rude doctor, who told me I was wasting her time!!!

Dr. Burnett is great. I had to change doctors due to my doctor retiring and I am glad I chose her.

Dr. Burnett is very caring and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend her.
