I’m not an idiot
Dr. Wolfe treated me like I was an idiot. Everything I asked. Everything I said about my symptoms. I would try to explain and was yelled at for not giving him yes or no answers. Then he insinuated that I wasn’t telling the truth. I am not the type of person to tolerate this type of treatment and let him know. Well that made it worse. I would rather go to vet for my issue than Dr Wolfe. Please do yourself a favor and research who you are going to trust your care with. I certainly will from now on

Don’t feel like he knows anything
I had a stroke 2 months ago and saw him pretty quickly after. He didn’t answer very many questions and when I messaged him about some headaches I was having, he said to come in. He didn’t hardly do anything and said he didn’t know what was the cause of the headache and refused to do studies to see. He told me to take acetaminophen 3 times a day instead of getting to the root of the problem. I then messaged him 2 weeks later stating I’m was still having headaches and he said “use an ice pack”. Don’t waste your time going here. No helpful at all.

Very rude with no compassion
He is rude, condescending, does not like to be questioned and screams and yells at you when you ask if you can get a test done elsewhere because it is cheaper to do that (and the hospital policy allows that). He threatened to fire me from the practice if I went elsewhere because he said he was "not going to read a PDF file". A nurse, hearing (through a closed door) him scream at me, came in after he left, told me he treats many patients and staff that way and not to take it personally, I needed to do what he said or he would fire me from the practice as he had done it to other patients. He does appear competent and did refer me to someone who specialized in what was wrong with me, however his serious attitude problem, lack of compassion, makes dealing with him incredibly difficult. There are other competent physicians out there who don't behave like he does.

Time for him to retire
My 21 year old niece was referred to him by her PCP for seizures and left there in tears. For a MD to tell a patient that he is short staffed and has more important things to do other than treat her is unbelievable. 0/5 stars for bedside manner. Based on other reviews, this attitude is his norm. Please see a neurologist who actually cares about their patient.

Jimmy Wolfe - DO NOT USE THIS "DOCTOR"
DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR! We were assigned to this "doctor" after releasing from the hospital. 1st he is arrogant and unprofessional, he's dismissive of any real conversations and only wants you in and out of the exam room. He likes to prescribe heavy doses of medication and in our case, it's been determined we didn't need any of it. Don't expect real treatment or answers from him, you will not get them. He should be fired and his license terminated. Save time, money and possibly your life by going to another doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Ruth Fredricks in the Jackson area (St. Dominics Hospital).

He was very condescending. He judged my son for a past addiction and actually laughed at him and told him his issues were his consequence. We have since talked to a good, competent doctor who is helping us to find the reason for the seizures. I have never been so shocked by someone supposedly in the "helping field". Very hurtful!! Stay away from this man!!!!

He makes you wait and then tells you that you are late. He will not allow patients to ask questions or speak. He will not explain what’s going on with you. He does not explain treatment. After appointment, office will not return your phone calls. He refuses telemedicine.

Dr. Wolfe gave me Botox injections in my forehead and back of my head for migraines. I cannot properly hold my head up, my neck is in constant pain and strain. My eyes feel like they are sagging and I can’t keep them open properly. From my eyebrows up is completely dead but I’m still having headaches. I wish I had researched Botox more before this procedure. I just took doctors’ word that it would help with migraines. Bad mistake. I’ve called his office 2 times but have not received a call back.

Bad medical decisions in Jackson, MS – Jun 19, 2018
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Wolfe?
I would give him a zero or lower if possible. My mother went to him a few years ago around the time Obama made paperwork for physicians a pain. He was grouchy and rude to my mother. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone. She was around 84 when she went to him and we were both shocked at how rude he was. I wish I had called him out on his rudeness at the time instead of being polite, as my mother has passed away now. I regret not taking up for her by standing up to him.

Our daughter was very nervous, he joked around and made her feel comfortable. He explained what she was going through and the medicine side effects well and made sure to give us time to ask questions. He also asked that we take her last MRI to him to review instead of trusting the other provider, so I appreciate his thoroughness and the chance for a 2nd opinion on her test rather than just ordering another very expensive test.

Dr. Wolf was very rude to my daughter and me during her last appointment with him. We had seen him once before. He was somewhat rude the first time. .When I asked him to tell me about the medication he was prescribing, he responded by saying, If you aren't going to take it, I'm not going to waste my time telling you about it. He got offensive when I said I would rather know the reason for her problems instead of medicating them. I was very offended by him and don't plan to use him again.
