It took 6 months to get in, but was worth the wait
I have suffered with long COVID since last summer - almost a year. FINALLY got in to see Dr. Tavee in April. She was prepared - had reviewed all my tests and was straight forward with the results of their post COVID syndrome study. She recommended I try several supplements and one therapy. It was like a light switched on and brain fog lifted...albeit slowly. My fatigue almost instantly improved. I'm not back to normal but continuing treatment expect to be in the next 6 weeks or so. What a relief! I cannot thank her enough

Skilled and thoughtful care
Dr. Tavee may be the best doctor I have ever known. She diagnosed and has treated my neurosarcoidosis with skill, persistence, and warmth. I am grateful for a doctor who listens so well, understands my condition so thoroughly, and is able to walk me through my scans to show me what is happening. She is world-famous for good reason, and I am grateful to have found her.

Go see her!!
She's amazing! After 2 years of begging to see a neurologist I saw rhum first and apparently didn't need them and they referred me to Dr Tavee. After doing research I felt confident when seeing her. I now see her and her NP Jenna who's amazing! Upon beginning new symptoms my symptoms are addressed immediately and it's like getting an immediate diagnosis and treatment. 10/10 recommend. So happy she was recruited to NJH. My heart hurts for her patients whom she left from Chicago and northwestern. But I'm thrilled to have her on my team of drs in Colorado. Never been happier than having the amazing care I have at National Jewish Hospital.

I have been diagnosed and am being treated fir sacoidosis. Dr Tave took on the neurological part of the diagnosis and treatment. She is an extraordinary human being, caring and compitent. She went out of her way to schedule short lead time appointments and stayed on a long test group till past closing to work with me. She is part of the Northwest Medical Team, and they are the best organized, and most talented group of health care providers I have ever seen.

Dr. Tavee with Northwestern neurosciences was helpful and driven to find out the cause of my ulnar neuropathy and paresthesias. I'm not out of the woods yet, but I have every faith in her abilities. She is why Northwestern has such renown.

No chance ! I have been waiting for answer as to when I was going to start my treatments that I was told I needed. I just found out this week that Dr. Tavee and her nurse never even addressed this with my insurance to try and get this approved !! I have been waiting for some time, so my family doc called their office to see what's taking so long, they never did it and Dr. Tavee looked at me and my wife and said this was critical and she was doing it immediately.

I loved Dr. Tavee when I saw her at the Cleveland Clinic. After being pushed around from one neurologist to another with nobody able to diagnose me, I was finally sent to her, and she found that I have neurosarcoidosis. I felt like I finally found a doctor who believed in me and that I could trust. Then when I saw her one last time before she left for Chicago, she never even referred me to a new neurologist. I felt like I was left out in the cold. I wish it would have ended differently.

Would never see her again! She performed an incomplete diagnostic test and then sent results on the wrong side of the body with many results missing. We had a very difficult time getting this corrected. The worst part she was angry with us over her error.
