Dr. Joan was my husband's RA doctor at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore from 1987 to 2000 when he passed away (from melanoma.) She was the most blessed physician one could ever hope for and I am forever grateful for the care she gave to my dear Jonah.

On the first visit with Dr. Bathon she took the time to discuss all aspects of my case, was friendly and thorough. On the second visit, she remembered things we said the first time and confirmed that I did not have RA. She said I did not need a follow-up appointment, but that if I felt I needed her help in any way I should contact her. I highly recommend her.

She has been my RA Dr. since the 1990's, until she left to go to New York. I still continue to see her once or twice a year. He knowledge about RA is over the top. Her love for the job is outstanding! She is always willing to share new information and research.
