If You Have A Mental Health Condition Stay AWAY!!
If you have any mental health issues I would NOT see her! She was my doctor until I had to fire her last month. She does NOT trust or respect her patients or their legal rights! I was her patient since she started working at Cheshire Medical Center and up until my mental health became an issue I thought that she was a great doctor. It is very important to be able to trust and respect your doctor but it is just important that the doctor also has trust and respect for her patients! Please, if you have any mental health condition I highly recommend that you avoid her and that you avoid Cheshire Medical Center!!

Fabulous Doctor
I consider myself fortunate that Dr. Hertford is my physician. She is gracious, kind, and exceedingly competent. She listens well and does an amazing job of responding to in between visit communication via the portal.

Disappointing
Very few times in my life have I left after waiting so long, however I was consistently left waiting with Dr. Hertford. Her time management with other patients must be a problem, but with me she always seemed rushed and uncaring. Quick to dismiss or misdiagnose something to get rid of it. She put me on a medication which gave me the exact reaction I had explained to her I was hoping to avoid. She was very dismissive and unapologetic for everything from wait times to my medical concerns. Honestly doesn't seem to be in this career path out of genuine empathy for people.

Excellent She is a very caring, conscientious, and empathetic Dr. I have been with her for over 5 yrs and she provides me with continued personalized treatment.

I do not trust her medical opinion since told me to slow down on drinking, as in once every 2 months is too much. I'm pretty sure there is something wrong with my brain and I told her I have small hallucinations and that issue was never even brought up. Didn't even recommend I see a psychiatrist either.
