Dr. Joanna Oppenheim, MD

Dr. Oppenheim is the BEST doctor I’ve ever had. She is very empathetic but also direct with her information and approach. Gets her point straight across while also making you feel completely heard and understood. Did I mention she’s a hugger? I’ve never had a doctor hug me!!! Felt so cared for! She is genuinely sweet and professional. I loved her positive energy!

Dr. Oppenheim has been my primary care physician for years. She has recently become the primary care physician for my mother who suffers from advanced dementia. She has been very informative and helpful. I appreciate her honesty, and whole health perspective. She prescribes medications as needed, but not as the immediate go to, in order to solve everything. We often discuss diet, exercise and mental well being. She is also the primary care physician for my 2 sons. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a physician.

She doesn’t listen. She is very slow to recognize serious illness. She writes off obese patients and ignores any problems they have.

I have an underling mental medical condition and it was not diagnosed at the visit. I didn’t know at the time. I gave symptoms and such. I was immediately dismissed after I told her that I use marijuana to medicate. She baited me and made me think if I just tell her about my marijuana use maybe she can help me. I told her and she immediately got angry and the session was basically over. I left frustrated and then came back because I was having problems at work with my mental issue. I asked for some kind of help to keep my job or any kind of paperwork to keep my job like a leave or something. I spoke to the receptionist and then was told that Dr. Oppenheim refused to see me and will not fill out any paperwork. I left and quit my job and took years to find someone that would help with my mental disorder that would allow me to function and work on a day to day basis. I regret ever seeing this hardline doctor that only cares about what will work for her and her beliefs.

Dr Oppenheim's Medical assistant doesn't have excellent customer service. They are very disappointing. I had a very very very bad experience today. I liked the Dr but not her Medical assistant. Her medical assistant needs to be terminated.I will go to this Dr again but do not want to see the 2 medical assistant I saw them today. The medical assistant I had they didn't introduce themselves to me, also their name badge was flipped so I wasn't able to see their name. But I do now what they look like.

Dr. Joanna Oppenheim is my primary care physician. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a doctor who is sincerely compassionate, caring, respectful, intelligent, knowledgeable and a consummate professional. She possesses a keenly optimistic attitude and radiates a most positive “vibe”. She communicates her advice & health assessments clearly and concisely. Her diagnostic accuracy is on the money. She’s the best.

Dr. Jo Oppenheim’s medical assistant is nasty and disrespectful to the point where I had to switch to another clinic. Very disappointing. Not where you want to take someone you care about.
