30 years of experience wasted. Should not be a DR
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with this “Dr” While the staff in labor and postpartum care were excellent, our brief 15-minute appointment with Dr. Knapik was unprofessional and dismissive.Instead of addressing our concerns about our newborn’s health, Dr. Knapik aggressively promoted her personal views on vaccination, insisting we vaccinate our child or face 'dire consequences.' When we asked about side effects, she dismissively remarked, 'Well, you knew you were having a baby.' Her behavior was cold, and she focused on pushing her personal agenda rather than providing professional, compassionate advice. Dr. Knapik’s lack of respect for our concerns, her refusal to engage in a balanced conversation, and her focus on promoting personal beliefs over patient care was deeply troubling. I believe her conduct undermines the trust in Huntley NM’s healthcare team. I strongly urge you to reconsider her role at Huntley NM so future patients receive respectful, professional care

Horrible
Dr knapik is very quick to jump to conclusions with her patients and is not meant to be a Dr for children.. she has made several ignorant comments and dismissed my daughters symptoms. We switched Dr's.

Dr Knapik is very thorough. She is friendly and kind to the kids and makes us all feel at ease. She helped diagnose a rare disease my son has that his previous doctor missed.

She made my 15 year old daughter so uncomfortable asked her multiple times if she was sexually active and would not let it drop. My daughter is on a form of birth control because of heavy periods and her being so athletic. My daughter can bench 140 squat 400 but she told my daughter to watch her weight and only did her bmi on her stomach not her arms or legs which are pure muscle! She made my daughter so upset and self conscious. She was so upset because she did not believe her and was rude!

My son and I love Dr. Knapik. She's incredibly sweet, listens to both the child AND the parent, and makes certain that she doesn't ONLY listen to mom or dad! She takes the time to explain things to Evan and ask HIM the questions, and we really love that about her. We have seen her a few times for random colds/flus/tummy troubles, and she's not one to immediately toss us some medications and have us call her in 2 weeks. Very thorough, and our favorite pediatrician.

Dr. Knapik has been both of my children's Pediatrician since we moved into the area 19 years ago. Dr. Knapik is the ONLY Dr. who listened to me and worked with me to help my son with his Asthma, allergies and eczema. Dr. Knapik was always available when we had an emergency she knew both my kids from the day she met them and is the most caring and knowledgeable pediatrician I have ever known. I trust her with my children and I absolutely recommend her.

Admonished me about my children's weight after not being proactive with me the year before about it and then telling me I wasn't remembering correctly. I was remembering correctly as they are my children. She was terse and abrupt. If your looking for warm and fuzzy..look elsewhere. You will never be right about your child with this woman.
