Pathetic office. I received a certified letter stating Dr Ahrens would no longer be my physician because I missed an appointment which was 3 days after my husband passed suddenly. I tried to call and explain and was told the decision was not reversible.

LOVE this Internal Medicine Doctor. She really listens to my complaints and has always been 'spot on' with her diagnosis . . . prescribing the best medical course for 'feeling better soon'! Thanks to Tom Schlembach/Toledo Clinic Physical Therapist for this referral!

I will NEVER recommend her. Saw her once last year and that was enough!! Maybe I caught her on a bad day but once was enough. She is very unwilling to work with you. Have to be seen in her office for every little thing. It's all about the $$$ for an office visit. Complain- she refuses to see you anymore. I was always told to ask questions. Phone rings endlessly with no one picking up. Have an 9 AM appointment still have to wait 40 mins to be seen. I've moved on to a more understanding doctor!!

I have been seeing Dr. Ahrens since 1991 and consider her one of the best, she is personable and professional all at the same time and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Ahrens takes the time to talk to her patients, and answers any questions they might have. I am especially grateful because I had several emergency flareups and Dr. Ahrens managed to squeeze me into her busy schedule. In one emergency when I was out of town she called in a prescription for me, because she knows me well and my medical history. I literally was unable to walk because the pain was so bad and I am so grateful that she got me pain-free in a few days. I highly recommend her.
