Dr. Joe Pouzar has been my physician for a number of years. He gets to know you well and it helps him track issues with your health. He is very knowledgeable and I trust him with my health.

Have seen Dr Pouzar for years He always takes the time to listen to your concerns & then tell you why he recommends treatment My husband & I will be his patients as long as he practices

Dr Joe is supremely professional and unusually caring. I have complete trust in his diagnoses and treatment methodologies.

Not so much a complaint about Dr Joe, but the office staff support is poor and HCA Houston is clueless about COVID vaccinations for Over 75+ seniors. May switch to Methodist providers.

Dr. Joe is great. He diagnosed my Parkinson's disease 5 years before two neurologists he sent me to could confirm his initial diagnosis. It took them 5 years !

Changed my review due to the lack of care of the front office and seeing everyone has the same issue. First off, I'm showing the dr all of these bad reviews that pretty much all have the same complaint. The back office. Completely rude and they couldn't care more. You would think that with so many patients complaining about this place that it would be a game changer. Proof is right here. You clearly see that there are ZERO cares given. Very nice man. Spends plenty of time with patients. Only problems are has to see you about anything and everything. He can't do anything over the phone. Even a refill at times requires an appointment. Seems to have to many patients. Extreme wait times to get an appointment. He had two nurses who assisted him but cut back to one and she seems overwhelmed. Last time I called about a refill it took 2 days for her to get back with me. When you see him your only allowed to discuss 2 medical problems

Amazing caring doctor. He took his time and addressed all my problems. I could not be happier. He and all of his staff was the best. The medical assistant was great! The office workers were very kind and caring.

I have been a patient of Dr. Joe Pouzar Jr. since September 2011. That ended today. His practice has moved from having a driving force of patient care to an assembly line body shop. It is now all about how many paying bodies he can move through the office in a day. No matter his clinical qualifications if he is "booked up and too busy" to see an acutely ill patient he does no good.

The staff is rude. You wait forever and to see your doctor takes months.
