Dr. Joel Kent, MD

Dr. Kent was the best doctor I have had in over 25 years. My last surgery was a spinal stimulator implant., my second on September 14, 2018I have since moved back to Arizona. He was kind, thoughtful and genuine, a listener and acceptor of all my issues. I was very fortunate to have found him when I needed help. I strongly urge anyone in need to find Dr. Kent. I received many injections in the time I saw him, they were done with the utmost of care. Never had any issues with the staff ever.

He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. I have several types of pain and he treats all of them with excellent results. I have doctored with him for several years. I would recommend him to alll people.

This physician never had any intention of helping me or listening to me. He thinks every patient with serious issues causing unbearable pain are drug seeking. He is not compassionate in the least. Do not waste your time or money like I did. You’ll be sorely disappointed.

Treated me with extraordinary skepticism during the two-plus years I saw him for chronic pain. I had the distinct impression he reads drug-seeking behavior into every patient interaction. Mercifully the source of my pain was eventually identified by another doctor (referred pain from a nearby tumor) and fixed surgically, because the situation was intolerable—intermittent and debilitating pain, insomnia, and the accompanying depression—and Kent had no apparent intention of exploring new or different treatments. If you have a serious pain issue seek help elsewhere.

Wouldn't look at my previous doctor reports and diagnosis for my hip pain. Kept telling me I had fibromyalgia instead of dealing with pain issues. Waste of time and money.
