I have worked with Dr Meyers for many years. He is very thorough and an excellent surgeon.

Dr. Meyers is currently performing cataract surgeries on me, he is pleasant to work with and explains complicated issues. I am confident trusting him with extremely complicated procedures and I expect to have better vision than I have had for more than 50 years.

Dr. Meyers provided skilled surgery care to reconstruct my eyelid following cancer removal. His attention to detail during the surgery and his follow up care have been excellent.

Dr Meyers is a very talented surgeon that has good “bedside manners”

Everyone is professional and friendly.

The Eye Care Center is always a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Meyers always conducts a very thorough and complete examination of my surgical area around my eye. He previously performed a very detailed surgery after a Mohs procedure by another physician on my eye area and is very precise on the status in my follow-up appointments.

I received a very thorough eye examination from Dr Meyers and everything ran really smoothly and I was impressed. One of the most thorough I've had in years. I do feel like one of my concerns wasn't heard enough. Dr Meyers was nice and very professional, but looking back on it, I think he thought I was a total idiot. Like, I was dumb. I'm a quiet sort of person, and that should never be mistaken for a lack of intelligence. I know what's going on with me. And, being a quiet sort of person, I didn't speak up. So, I WOULD see Dr Meyers again. And I would speak up next time.

Dr. Meyers instilled total confidence. He was professional, efficient and skilled. He answered my questions and skillfully performed the procedure. He was also pleasant. We are fortunate to have such outstanding physicians!

Dr. Meyers saved my eye/vision in an emergency situation after a doctor from another town was negligent. He made room for my successful surgery in his packed schedule. For ten months he has continued to manage my healing progress with careful monitoring and helpful recommendations. My husband and I are equally impressed and grateful to have such a fine professional available in Northern Colorado

Dr. Meyers needs work on his "bedside manner". He seems to be knowledgable, but he did not listen to me when I tried to describe the problem (nor did he solve it - he just recommended a type of eyedrops that I told him I had already tried); he kept cutting in and talking on top of me. I finally had to say "May I finish?" He seemed bored and distainful, like he was wasting his time with me. The only time he made eye contact with me was when he was leaving - he bent over toward me, pointed his finger and shook it at me! If he had been a PATIENT, according to the published "behavior standards" of the Clinic, he would have been ejected from the room!

It's likely his skill level is high but his interpersonal manner is too alarming - won't answer basic questions about your condition and the treatment plan, implies there is something wrong with you for asking questions, makes no eye content, condescending, seems to resent his own patients, his office staff runs in place trying to be helpful and to smooth over his poor bedside manner. I recommend you go to someone who treats you with respect and as an ally in your own treatment and follow-up plan. I have no idea how you could navigate it if something went wrong under his "care".
