Dr Joel Picus Oncologist
Dr Picus is a wonderful Oncologist. I would not be here today if it wasn't for his excellent knowledge and attention to detail. He treated me for Bladder, Kidney, Prostrate, Lumbar, and Right Hip Cancer. It has been 10 years since I started Chemo Treatment and Immunotherapy treatments. I have been clear of any recurrence for 7 years. I would and have, highly recommend Dr Picus.

Dr. Picus Is Knowledgeable
Dr. Picus treated me from 2008 to 2021. Since he does research for cures, I felt he was always up to date on treatments. Office visits with him were always pleasant. Dr. Picus will be very upfront about the care needed. I appreciated his care for me, so much so that after moving 250 miles away, I continued to see him for 6 more years. Dr. Picus suggested the oncologist I now see and he is well respected by my current doctor. The only reason I do not currently see Dr. Picus is due to the fact that the five hour drive became a burden. I would recommend him to my friends and family.

Horrible experience, I asked him ti be gentle with my mom We knew she was dying and we had ask him to tell my mom that once she became stronger he could have tried to give her a different chemotherapy When my mom asked him what he thought he said” I want to tell you the truth but your daughters will not let me” He got up and left the room We never saw him again This happen July 9th 2018 Today, July 22nd 2020 is the second anniversary of my mom’s death ????

I would recommend patients to visit other oncologist .Dr.doesnt have enough courage to sent him to another specialist and doesn't have necessary manners to talk to terminally ill patients.

It was the worst experience of my entire life. I told him I was sick after surgery and he said I needed a psychiatrist!! The very next day, 8 weeks after surgery, I ended up at the ER and they found that my ureters had ruptured and there was over 5000 mL of urine in my abdomen. He almost killed me!!!
