Caring, responsive, happy, service focused and led by a wonderfully talented and empathetic surgeon. In my first visit, Dr. Politi came in without a laptop and by himself, sat on a rolling chair, pulled right up to me and talked about options. His eye contact was perfect and he listened. My surgery was great and I am so thankful for Dr. Politi and his team of experts. I have a new magic knee and a better life to look forward to living!! Thank you can never say enough.

I had a total knee replacement last year. It turned out that I was allergic to the surgical glue used to close my incision (who knew that was even a thing) and it became extremely infected. I had to have a spacer knee and then another permanent knee replacement the following year. I every mishap known to man. He made sure that I had the best infectious disease doctor in the city. Whenever I went to see Dr. P, at every turn he said, 'I'll take care of it.' And he always did! He was always patient, concerned and answered all my multitude of questions. He takes his time to make sure you understand the entire process. I can't say enough about him and his entire team! He is the best!

From 1st visit to follow up 2 weeks after hip replacement Dr. Politi has been warm, enthusiastic, candid and supportive. I am a 78 year old and not in great shape. Despite that I walked out a few hours after surgery. Pain has been much less than expected and I fully expect complete use of my hip in a short time. My PCP told me when he referred me to Dr. Politi that he is the best. He was right. The staff have also been great.

I came to Dr. Politi after having a knee replacement and a follow up surgery with negative results. I was in pain and had very limited motion in my knee. Dr. Politi created a plan. There’s astronauts, fighter pilots, IT Architects, and then there’s Joel Politi. World class all. Dr Joel Politi has performed multiple surgeries for me since 2009. All of which have kept me healthy and living the active life I so much enjoy. Joel has an unequaled skill set, an exemplary humility for people, a vast wealth of knowledge regarding his craft, a passion for healing, I could go on and on. Always assuring and calm, always direct and truthful, always confident due to all these attributes he would probably downplay. But that’s Dr Politi. Joel is obviously on my short list of people in my life I trust and would recommend to my mother if she were still with us. You won’t find a better orthopedic surgeon…period.

Dr. Politi listened carefully to my history. I had a previous surgery to repair ACL/MCL by another doctor and ended up with gangrene that compromised my tibia and femur at the knee. Dr. Politi made me feel at ease that he could successfully do a knee replacement. His bed side manner and surgical skills are incredible. I am now six weeks out from surgery and walking fine. Dr. Politi gave me my quality of life back. I give him FIVE STARS and would highly recommend him. Thank you Dr. Politi for helping me get my life back.
